It was created to open up an opportunity for young children to celebrate Eastertide. The composition is also available online in French (Les Cloches de la Jeunesse). The round is introduced on the Ahhh vowel by an adult leader at the school, church, or other organization. The Bells of Youth is slightly longer and more complicated than traditional rounds, yet a joyous, simple way to get beginning youth choirs more deeply involved in music and the celebration of the Easter season.
