Viola Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.531059 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Klas Krantz. Folk. Individual part. 5 pages. Amadeus Music #22705. Published by Amadeus Music (A0.531059). The origin of the tune was for a long time somewhat mysterious, as no other collector of folk tunes encountered it, and all known examples are descended from Ms. Ross’ submission to Petrie’s collection (1855). The title of the air comes from the name of the county located in Northern Ireland. The air was collected by Jane Ross of Limavady, County Londonderry, who heard it played by an itinerant piper or fiddler. The descendants of blind fiddler Jimmy McCurry assert that he is the musician from whom she transcribed the tune but there is no historical evidence to support this speculation. The tune was listed as an anonymous air, with a note attributing its collection to Jane Ross of Londonderry. This led to the descriptive title Londonderry Air being used for the piece.

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1222588 By Pat Martino. By Cal Massey. Arranged by edited by Dr. LeRoy Henry. Blues,Hip-Hop,Jazz,R & B,Standards. Guitar Tab. 11 pages. Dr. LeRoy Henry #818869. Published by Dr. LeRoy Henry (A0.1222588). These Are Soulful Days is a jazz standard by Cal Massey. On this 1973 date, organist Don Patterson and guitarist Pat Martino again show themselves to be equally at home with gritty, organ combo sounds and the more refined vocabulary of hard bop. Brothers Jimmy Heath (tenor sax) and Albert Heath (drums) round out the band. They are bop-oriented players who also have an affinity for the Patterson and Martino blend of brains and barbecue sauce. The quartet comes together nicely on all five tracks, beginning with the long, melodic line of Cal Massey's mid-tempo title track.Pat Martino's solo and comping are presented here. The theme is omitted for copyright reasons.
