I'm very proud of this A minor blues duo which my teacher Joachim and I composed ourselves. It's not your usual blues but a little something special. And it's not as easy to play as it sounds because you've got syncopations and Jazz chords and you have to listen to one another very carefully. Suitable for guitar lessons.

This is the first blues my teacher Joachim and I composed together, but I liked the second one better so we recorded that one first (Minor Blues https://youtu.be/GcbZBvaURTc). But once that project was taken care of, I grew fond of this one, too. It's the best little fingerstyle etude to start your daily guitar practice with and get into the feeling. I called it Blues No. 17 because Blues No. 1 sounds boring and my birthday is on the 17th of December :-) We'd be so happy if you purchased our guitar tabs and used it in your guitar lessons! For this fingerstyle blues piece we took GuitarNick 's Blues #2 and extended it into a blues duo suitable for guitar lessons. I never get tired of the light and happy swing it's got to it! It makes you forget all your troubles. Our version of the piece consists of three parts: a blues theme with a second melody and two different solo parts with a simple blues accompaniment. We play them in the following order: blues theme & melody, solo #1, blues theme & melody, solo #2. But you could as well play: blues theme & melody, solo #1, solo #2, blues theme & melody as a grand finale. Play around a little and come up with your own version! Here is an original arrangement in a Jazz-Ballade style of a very pretty Christmas Carol. It is originally from France and called Les anges dans nos campagnes which translates to The Angels in our Country. 
Where I grew up it is named in Latin Gloria (in exelcis Deo) and in internationally it is known as Angels we have heard on high.
