Beautiful Love is a jazz standard that has been with us since 1931, and is well-known enough to have been recorded by the likes of pianist Bill Evans, trumpeter Tom Harrell, and guitarist Joe Pass. It is presented here as a sultry down-tempo bossa nova for piccolo, four C flutes, and alto and bass flute, along with guitar, piano, bass, and drums. It features a very beginner-friendly arrangement that draws on rich harmonic color and melodic writing. It includes optional solos for everyone who wants to play, and a layered soli section for the flutes, finishing with a shimmering musical sunrise.
