The four voices are distributed throughout the parts, and at 101 bars, it is certainly one of Bach's longest, and definitely one of the most enjoyable to play, especially in a generous acoustic. This is an arrangement for String Quartet. It retains Bach's voicing as much as possible, within the range of the instruments. It is good for quartet players to refer to the full score in Bars 2 and 10 to know when exactly to come in. Bowings and dynamics were left out so that players can be creative in interpreting the arrangement themselves.
