While fun to play on guitar, it does not reward the listener with the harmonic depth which the guitar can deliver. Robert Schumann wrote a piano accompaniment for this suite that provides that harmonic richness. This arrangement mines this to show what the guitar can bring to make up for its lack of bowing. The music has been transposed to A; standard tuning. The other movements are also available.
