The second focuses on the instrumental and rhythmical color possibilities of the same E pitch with the occasional neighboring F. Homophonic movement is featured in the last movement sometimes breaking up into smaller ensembles. These Silent Duration pieces are notable for their incorporation of silence as an integral part of the compositional fabric. The duration is 11'08.
