I've tried to capture the essence of Elton's rhythmic playing, which was a challenge as he sings the melody while we as solo pianists have to spread all features of the song between our two hands. I'm pleased with the result and for anyone that has played my arrangements of Your Song and Tiny Dancer I think you will find this an equally nice addition to your library. Dynamic and phrasing are left to the performers discretion but have added a few to get you started. Have Fun.

Originally written for but dropped from the musical Billy Rose's Jumbo (1935), it was used in On Your Toes (1936), where it was introduced by Ray Bolger and Doris Carson. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. It sounds great as-written, but feel free to make it your own!

Here is a brief description of the work by composer John Frith: It is well documented that at Beethoven's funeral on March 26th, 1827, a choir of trombones and male voices made appropriate music. This is not that music, but rather an attempt to recreate something of the sombre mood of that historic occasion.
