Baritone Horn TC,Bass Trombone,E-Flat Cornet,E-Flat Tuba TC,Euphonium,Flugelhorn,Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.752393 By Willie Nelson. By Arthur Kent and Sylvia Dee. Arranged by Rob Bushnell. Comedy,Film/TV,Jazz. 62 pages. RBMusic #5358961. Published by RBMusic (A0.752393). Written by Arthur Kent and Sylvia Dee, Bring Me Sunshine was first recorded by The Mills Brothers in 1968 for their album My Shy Violet. In the UK, the song is associated with the comedy duo Eric Morecambe & Ernie Wise, after it was used in the second series of their BBC show as their signature tune from 1969. This arrangement was requested by Lofthouse 2000 Brass Band, to bring some sunshine to his band whilst everyone was in lockdown during the 2019/2020 Coronavirus Pandemic. Whilst this arrangement is written for the standard brass dectet instrumentation of 4 trumpets, 1 French Horn, 4 trombones and 1 tuba (with optional drum kit part), it can also be performed by larger ensembles (such as the UK-style brass band) due to all of the alternative parts included (e.g. part for tenor horn and treble-clef lower brass instruments). There are also alternative parts for ensembles that only have 3 trumpets, or 3 trombones, etc. An alternative score has also been provided for ease of conducting in the UK. A recording of the song can be found on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMY7j5U-LxI.   Other Searchable Terms: Skip dance, Groucho Marx, Brenda Lee, Johnny One Time, Jack Greene, Statue of a Fool, Chet Atkins, Yestergroovin', Liz Damon, Orient Express, Willie Nelson, Spotlight on Willie Nelson, Mickey Gilley, Mickey at Gilleys, Cliff Adams Singers, Sing Something Simple Collection: Sentimental Journey, Mrs Mills, Gladys Mills, The Very Best of Mrs. Mills, Richard Shelton, Top Cat, Foster & Allen, Oleg Frish with Patrick Williams & His Big Band, The Jive Aces, King of the Swingers: A Salute to Louis Prima, Violetta Zironi, cookies, Pavesini, Michael Ball & Alfie Boe with the Rays of Sunshine Children's Choir & Friends
