Instrumental Duet Clarinet,Instrumental Duet,Soprano Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.589805 By John Denver. By David Leslie Froggatt, Jane Barnes, and Johnny Marks. Arranged by David McKeown. Children,Christmas,Country,Holiday,Rock. Score and parts. 4 pages. David McKeown #6096163. Published by David McKeown (A0.589805). This version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is arranged by David McKeown as a duet for one Soprano Saxophone and one Clarinet. The song, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, was written in 1949 by Johhny Marks. The Rudolph story was written by Marks’ brother-in-law, Robert L May, a decade earlier. The success of the song was guaranteed when it was recorded by Gene Autry, a huge star at the time. Initially Gene Autry didn’t like the song and was only persuaded to record it by his wife. She obviously knew best as Rudolph went on to become the second best-selling Christmas record of all time after White Christmas, with versions by everyone from the Jackson Five to Alvin and the Chipmunks. This duet version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is based on the Gene Autry version, with a short introduction, and three choruses of the melody, with a key change and varied accompaniment throughout. Rhythms are simple in a swing style and the range is conservative, so this arrangement is ideal for players at an intermediate level. Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1223782 By Henry Mancini. By Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer. Arranged by Amy Long. Broadway,Folk,Jazz,Musical/Show,Standards. Score. 2 pages. Amy Long #819931. Published by Amy Long (A0.1223782). This arrangement of Moon River is in E flat major set to an easy piano accompaniment.  Singers do not need much of a range to sound lovely in this arrangement (required range: Eb3 - F4); it's therefore perfect for beginning voice students with lower voices or for any singer looking for repertoire in this range.  The simple accompaniment supports the melody but does not double it.  Singers who play a little piano should be able to accompany themselves.  Voice teachers may likewise find this useful rep for their low-voiced students.

Arranged by Raymond Fenech. 20th Century,Children,Christmas,Holiday,Multicultural,World. 8 pages. Raymond Fenech #888473. Published by Raymond Fenech (A0.1298594). Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a fictional reindeer created by Robert L. May. Rudolph is usually depicted as the ninth and youngest of Santa Claus's reindeer, using his luminous red nose to lead the reindeer team and guide Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve. Though he initially receives ridicule for his nose as a fawn, the brightness of his nose is so powerful that it illuminates the team's path through harsh winter weather. The Duration is approx. 1.05 minutes and the level is Early Intermediate.

Brass Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.883786 Composed by Eric Burdon and Eric Victor Burdon. Arranged by Phil Lawrence. Contemporary. Score and parts. 64 pages. Phillip Lawrence #5287377. Published by Phillip Lawrence (A0.883786). The idea for this arrangement was given to me by an old friend who played in BR Edge Hill band with when we were kids, Christine Humphreys and to do it for bass trombone, the more I looked at it thinking of Eric Burdon’s voice from The Animals with his first verse nearly too low for him to scrape the lower notes and then the later verses near to top of his register suited. The Animals though in A minor, so for BT I dropped it to Ab minor a real shall we say juicy register for bass trombone plus the added attraction of setting it in the lower octave pedal area to show the instrument off. There aren’t may Bass Trom solos in the rep, so now we add one more!An interview with Eric Burdon revealed that he first heard the song at a club in Newcastle, England, where it was performed by Northumberland folk singer Johnny Handle. The Animals were on tour with Chuck Berry and chose him because they wanted to sing something different. The Animals version moves the narrative from the initial point of view of a woman drawn into a life of decline to that of a man whose father is a gambler and a drunk, rather than the adorable person of the previous versions.
