It began life as a solo piano piece back in 1980 when I was at school and stressing over my first secondary school exams. Everywhere I looked in my school I was confronted with signs that read, “Silence! Examination In Progressâ€. A comical tune started up in my head and before I knew it it grew into a piano piece, which I wrote down and played daily to help myself cope with the stress of exams.
