In the triello scene, after a very tense wait, Blonde kills Sentenza, while Tuco, whose gun was discharged during the night by his companion, finds himself unarmed and at his mercy. But Blonde spares him, reveals to him that no name is indicated on the stone, and forces him to dig in the unknown man's grave next to Stanton's. The two thus come into possession of the dollars, but Blonde plays one last atrocious prank on Tuco: while the latter was digging he prepared a noose hanging from a tree, and forces the bandit to stick his neck through it while balancing precariously on a cross wooden. Then he ties his hands, and before his incredulous eyes he loads half the loot onto Sentenza's horse and walks away. He will save him in the usual way, shooting the rope from afar, amidst the bandit's begging, tears and finally insults.

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1138474 By Louise du Toit. By Louise du Toit. Arranged by Louise du Toit. Contemporary. Score. 17 pages. Louise du Toit #738812. Published by Louise du Toit (A0.1138474). Intshe the Ostrich is the eighth in a series of fifteen original contemporary compositions for piano, titled 15 Animal Compositions for Piano and created to musically describe the movement and habits of specific wildlife creatures. From music notes to words: Intshe the old ostrich is in a very good mood. Walking through the South African fields surrounding Oudtshoorn, he comes across a narrow road leading to a desolated farmyard where a lot of delicious junk is waiting to be explored. He sees two ancient metal spoons and swallows it; then he gulps down an empty beer bottle, an old, broken wristwatch and a few shiny metal pieces. On his way back to the fields, he adds two round stones to his collection of strange, edible things. Feeling extremely happy after the gourmet meal, he starts moving around in a very weird way, dancing his heart out until his legs are like jelly. Every now and then he stands still for a few moments, opening and closing his wings to cool down from the heat of the exercise; then he dances again until he collapses of exhaustion, ready to take a very long nap in the hot South African sun. .

Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1464196 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Mary Ann W. Snowball. Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred,Spiritual. 3 pages. Kevin G. Pace #1042917. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1464196). A beautiful, sacred hymn referencing the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Music by Kevin G. Pace. Text by Mary Ann W. Snowball.Text:During a drought theres faithful hope of a rescuing rain.A distant cloud may seem afar, but God our life sustains. All temples built must show great strength when erecting to God.The earths great gift of severed stones shows a final faade.Arid ground can be made whole; broken rocks can be strong.Gods love is a Fathers love . . . even for the prodigal one. Abrahams age, and Sarahs too, halted one promised heirUntil, with time, a miracle brought forth Isaac so fair.Witnesses from within a crowd, begged a stoning one day,But Jesus stooped and said with love, Sin no more, go thy way.Waiting long can claim Gods will; He can bless to belong.Gods love is a Fathers love . . . even for the prodigal one. A prodigal left home too soon . . . riches squandered, abused,Until at last all pride was gone; fathers kiss showing truth. Some sin may come, or mortal pain; earthly choices are made.Temptations soar, but Father, God, loves with grandeur displayed.Coming home to Fathers love brings a brand-new song.Gods love is a Fathers love . . . even for his prodigal one. Gods pure love means coming home . . . especially for His prodigal one.

Instrumental Duet,Piano Flute,Instrumental Duet,Oboe,Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.837511 Composed by Brett L. Wery. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary. Score and parts. 56 pages. Sonata Grendel Publishing #6599293. Published by Sonata Grendel Publishing (A0.837511). An Avaloch Divertimento was begun-in fact the first two movements were completed-at the Avaloch Farm Music Institute in New Hampshire. Avaloch or Abhlach, is from the old Irish word meaning, place of the apple trees. The sacred Isle of the Apple Trees, Avalon-where Arthur, King of the Britons, was taken to be healed of his dreadful wounds-takes its name from this ancient word. Avaloch Farm Music Institute (AFMI) in New Hampshire is also a magical place where chamber music groups come to work and create in an atmosphere free from the distractions of everyday life. In the summer of 2021 I had the pleasure and honor of being a resident of AFMI along with Areli Mendoza-Pannone, Robert Frazier, and Mark Evans as we work-shopped my song cycle, Quarry Songs. Areli, Bobby, and Mark had to go back to the real world half way through the residency, leaving me at AFMI to begin work on An Avaloch Divertimento. The first movement is an Aubade, which are traditionally morning love songs-as opposed to evening love songs or serenades. In the seventeenth century aubades became associated with instrumental works depicting sunrises. It is this sense of the word that is used here, complete with a bird-song oboe cadenza. Pippin takes its name from a variety of apple. While at AFMI I would take afternoon walks through the nearby apple orchard to beautiful Walker Pond. It was on one of these walks that I came up with the first draft of the tune used in the central fughetta of the movement. The word, pippin is also included in Carolyn Forché’s poem, The Museum of Stones, which I had set as the final movement of Quarry Songs. The final movement, Amhrán, means song in Irish and is a simple song form with three interwoven themes that emulate the Irish Bodhran (frame drum), fiddle, and singer. Many thanks to Board Chair, Alfred Tauber, Artistic Director, Deborah Sherr, and Operations Director, Hannah Landes and the whole AFMI staff for creating such a wonderful refuge for musicians to work, learn, and create. Violin, cello, Northumbrian pipes, Hammond-organ and orchestra - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q52424 For violin, cello, Northumbrian pipes, hammond organ and orchestra. Composed by Jon Lord. This edition: study score. Evening - architecture - dawn - architecture - cathedral - bagpipes - Durham - England - Great Britain - cathedral - Church - concerto - morning - afternoon - nocturne - Northumbrian pipes - program music - program music - students - Studies - Studies. Music Of Our Time. Downloadable, Study score. Duration 57' 0. Schott Music - Digital #Q52424. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q52424). The general inspiration for the music was an idea of Durham, garnered from two or three short visits and a reading of a short history – so a sort of “Durham of the mind”, a stylized Durham; ‘my’ Durham, if you will, imagined into music. However, the defining inspiration for the piece was the Cathedral. My first visit to Durham in 2001 saw me standing open-mouthed on Palace Green, and then in silent awe as I walked into that formidable magnificence inside. Most of the themes came from the days immediately following my first experience of this extraordinary, inspiring building. The feeling that the very stones and pillars themselves are imbued with centuries of prayer, with people’s joy, grief, despair, even anger; gratitude and hope. As the tunes and chords and sounds started to organize themselves in my mind and onto manuscript paper, I realized that I was writing a sort of “day in the life of Durham”, and that the Cathedral would be its beginning, would be in its middle, and would be at its ending. The piece consists of six ‘pictures’ arranged into three parts – the morning, afternoon and evening of this imaginary Durham city. Jon Lord, 20173 (3. auch Picc.) · 2 · Engl. Choral Choir (SA) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.873029 Composed by Sally Whitwell. Contemporary,Standards. Octavo. 10 pages. Sally Whitwell #3869007. Published by Sally Whitwell (A0.873029). Composer’s Note - Choosing Our Own AdventureCanberra in the 1980s was a pretty fun place to be for a little kid. Well, i liked it. Playtime was very outdoorsy, with Lake Burley Griffin and other large tracts of bushland only twenty minutes from a nywhere, it was easy to be somewhere beautiful pretty quickly. There was lots of bike riding, roller skating, tree climbing, skipping stones on the water, and running through waist high piles of autumn leaves. The change of seasons is so colourfully vivid in Canberra, it just makes you want to be outside to taste it!I’ve tried to capture that playfulness in this song which I dedicate to my big brother James with whom I spent so many of those childhood weekends. The name of the piece pays tribute to a series of books we loved to read, Choose Your Own Adventure.-- Sally Whitwell

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.930541 Composed by Evan Schwartzman. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score. 35 pages. Evan Schwartzman #4767227. Published by Evan Schwartzman (A0.930541). Four pieces for solo piano on mythological themes. The four pieces are: Voyage to Cythera, Circe’s Palace, Sirens, and Erinyes, the Mist Walker. I. Voyage to Cythera (Κύθηρα) describes a sea voyage to the home of Aphrodite. The music captures some of the intense ambivalence of Baudelaire’s poem of the same title, alternating between feelings of expectation and dread.  II. Circe’s Palace describes Odysseus’ crew coming upon the enchantress Circe (Κίρκη) in her stone palace, sitting at her loom. She invites them to a feast, where she drugs them and transforms them into swine.  III. Sirens (Σειρῆνας) also paints a scene from the Odyssey. The Sirens were sea nymphs who would entice sailors to their deaths through their seductive singing. When Odysseus and his men draw near to the Sirens, he orders them to stuff their ears with beeswax so that they cannot hear clearly. Odysseus has himself bound to the mast of his ship, so that he can hear the song without risking his life. IV. The Erinyes (Ερινυες) were an early Greek form of the Roman Furies. They were chthonic deities, born from the blood shed by Uranus when he was castrated by Cronus. Their role was to punish men and women who had broken natural law, usually by driving their victims mad. The piece opens with the victim wandering about in mist, after which he is set upon and torn to pieces in a frenzy.

Lyrically, it is a love song of devotion. Music critics gave the song positive reviews, with many commending the song for being a solid and memorable love song. The song has been selected as one of the Best Love Songs of All Time by many media outlets, including Rolling Stone, Nerve, MTV and many others.[3] Time After Time was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Song of the Year at the 1985 edition.[4] The song was a success on the charts, becoming her first number-one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart on June 9, 1984, and remaining there for two weeks. An acoustic version was sung by Lauper withSarah McLachlan on her 2005 album The Body Acoustic.[5] Lauper has performed the song live with Patti LaBelle twice in 1985 and 2004 and with Sarah McLachlan at the American Music Awards of 2005,[6] as well as with rapper Lil' Kim in 2009.Taken from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_After_Time_(Cyndi_Lauper_song)

Max Stannard Music #3411069. Published by Max Stannard Music (A0.773453). Tears in Heaven is a song by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings, from the 1991 Rush film soundtrack. In an interview with Sue Lawley in 1992, Clapton said of the song, There is a song that I’ve written for a movie, but in actual fact it was in the back of my head but it didn’t really have a reason for being until I was scoring this movie which I did a little while ago and then it sort of had a reason to be. And it is a little ambiguous because it could be taken to be about Conor but it also is meant to be part of the film. Conor, Clapton's four-year-old son, fell from a window of a 53rd-floor New York apartment owned by his mother's friend on March 20, 1991. Clapton arrived at the apartment shortly after the accident. The song was Clapton's best-selling single in the United States and reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100. It won three Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked Tears in Heaven 362nd on the magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. This arrangement is for brass quintet.
