The Muppet Christmas Carol is a 1992 American Christmas musical film directed by Brian Henson (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Jerry Juhl. It is the fourth theatrical film featuring the Muppets. Adapted from the 1843 novella A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, the film stars Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge, alongside Muppet performers Dave Goelz, Steve Whitmire, Jerry Nelson, and Frank Oz. Although artistic license is taken to suit the aesthetic of the Muppets, The Muppet Christmas Carol otherwise follows Dickens's original story closely. It is the first Muppet film to be produced following the deaths of Muppets creator Jim Henson and performer Richard Hunt; the film is dedicated to both.

The film was released in the United States on December 11, 1992, by Buena Vista Pictures Distribution under its Walt Disney Pictures label. It was a modest box office success and received generally favorable reviews. It is the first Muppets film to be produced by Walt Disney Pictures, whose parent company would later acquire the rights to the Muppets characters and assets in 2004.

This short but energetic work in its original orchestral form accompanies the opening credits to the 1987 animated film The Chipmunk Adventure, featuring Alvin and the Chipmunks and their female partners, the Chipettes. Some of my earliest memories involve watching the movie in my family's living room, and this piece likely became one of my very first exposures to the sound of a symphony orchestra without me even being aware. It is my pleasure to offer this solo piano arrangement to the general public.

The Artist is a 2011 French[nb 1] comedy-drama film[nb 2] in the style of a black-and-white silent film or part-talkie. The film was written and directed by Michel Hazanavicius, produced by Thomas Langmann and stars Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo. The story takes place in Hollywood, between 1927 and 1932, and focuses on the relationship between a rising young actress and an older silent film star as silent cinema falls out of fashion and is replaced by the talkies.

The Artist received widespread critical acclaim and won many accolades. Dujardin won Best Actor at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, where the film premiered. The film was nominated for six Golden Globes, the most of any 2011 film, and won three: Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Original Score, and Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for Dujardin. In January 2012, the film was nominated for twelve BAFTAs, the most of any film from 2011, and won seven, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor for Dujardin, and Best Original Screenplay for Hazanavicius.

It was nominated for ten Academy Awards and won five, including Best Picture, Best Director for Hazanavicius, and Best Actor for Dujardin, making him the first French actor ever to win in this category. It was also the first French-produced film to win Best Picture, and the first mainly silent film to win since 1927's Wingswon at the 1st Academy Awards in 1929. It was also the first film presented in the 4:3 aspect ratio to win since 1953's From Here to Eternity. Additionally, it was the first black-and-white film to win since 1993's Schindler's List, though the latter contained limited colour sequences; it was the first 100% black-and-white film to win since 1960's The Apartment.

In France it was nominated for ten César Awards, winning six, including Best Film, Best Director for Hazanavicius, and Best Actress for Bejo. The Artist has received more awards than any other French film.

By Meghan Trainor. By Kevin Kadish and Meghan Trainor. Arranged by Tabitha Beaven. A Cappella,Pop. Chords/Lyrics. 4 pages. Tabitha Beaven #1047554. Published by Tabitha Beaven (A0.1469514).

Part of a 'Pop Song Layer Up' series - these arrangements are designed to be quick, easy wins for choir or singing group warm-ups and fun filler songs.

Essentially a 'long form' round, it takes three elements of Meghan Trainor's 'Dear Future Husband' and layers them up.

As with singing any round, it provides great brain training and stretch for singers to concentrate and focus on their part and not be swayed by the multiple rhythms and notes moving around their part.

The arrangement provides a structure but is designed to be explored and experimented with to see what works, ideal to build confidence for both group leader and singers trying something new together.

A key chart showing four different keys has been provided with note range and starting notes should an alternative key be more suitable for your vocal group. Suggest using off-beat finger clicks or a metronome beat to keep time.  Backing tracks may be available in future.

Suggested structure to try:
Start with a group on Voice 1 (alternatively this can be the full group before split into different groups)
At the repeat sign Voice 1 moves to Voice 2 and a second group start on Voice 1
At the repeat sign, Voice 1 moves to Voice 2, Voice 2 moves to Voice 3 and a third group starts as Voice 1
If the third group to come in sings all three parts, it will mean 5 repeats in total
Agree a sign with group and when reaching the end of the last repeat - move to the Coda to finish off

Most importantly, it's something to have a little bit of fun with and freshen up warm-ups exercises.
