Here is one of the biggest hits for Styx that actually destroyed their fan base. In the original key from their Kilroy Was Here LP, the song and the LP reached #3 in the U.S. What destroyed Styx fan base was that they wanted to see Styx in concert perform their hits. But Dennis DeYoung decided to make their tour more of a broadway show, using both live instruments and backing tracks. The Leprechaun was the first LP that I heard by Chick Corea. I fell in love with his music ever since. I especially liked Chick's music when he used a lot of instruments in his music. This song has woodwind, brass, and strings along with his combo. The Leprechaun's Dream is the finale to the masterful LP. It is an epic tune with different keys, dynamics, key signatures and tempos. This was one of the singer's greatest hits. Feira de Mangaio was composed in New York. What's more, to the horror of purists, the lyrics to Glorinha Gadelha's song were finished at a McDonald's on Seventh Avenue.
