Voice Duet Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.955865 Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. Opera,Standards. 8 pages. Scott S. Stewart #6504233. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.955865). The Brindisi (drinking song), Libiamo ne’ lieti calici (Let’s drink from the joyful chalices) is the famous duet from the Italian opera La traviata (1853) by Giuseppe Verdi, and perhaps one of the best known opera melodies in all the operatic repertoire.  This ‘arrangement’ is a practical performance arrangement scored for (reduced to) soprano & tenor voices with piano accompaniment; its aim is to ease the work of the pianist not having to deal with the many necessary page turns.  It is in the original Italian text. Performance time: 2:31+

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.817426 Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by Sylvina Tilbury. Instructional,Opera,Romantic Period,Standards. Score. 4 pages. Sylvina Tilbury #4630079. Published by Sylvina Tilbury (A0.817426). La Traviata is one of Verdi's most well-loved operas and the Prelude to Act 1 is exquisitely beautiful. I have tried to capture the beauty of the music in this new arrangement for solo piano.Pedalling is indicated where appropriate but judicious pedal can be used throughout, taking care not to interfere with the staccato sections. Ornaments consist of a grace note plus mordent but can be simplified if needed. This work has a Creative Commons licence but if you re-use or perform it please acknowledge my work as the arranger.

Brass Ensemble - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.767334 Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by Mike Lyons. Romantic Period. Score and parts. 38 pages. Lyons Music Services #3502033. Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.767334). This famous aria from La Traviata translates very well onto brass. I suppose there's an affinity between brass players and drinking songs! This is certainly a rousing example. The melody is shared between the 1st Trumpet, Horn and Trombone/Euphonium (Parts 1,3 and 5) as the different singers take their 'verse'. It is great fun to play with lots of excuses for horseplay amongst the players.Parts are supplied as follows:Part 1 in Bb - Trumpet/CornetPart 2 in Bb - Trumpet/CornetPart 3 in F/Eb - HornPart 4 in C/Bb - Trom./Euph./Barit.Part 5 in C/Eb - Tuba/Eb Bassthe pdf includes an extra part 4 in bass clef, without the change to tenor clef.
