Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1199863 Composed by Frank Loesser and Hoagy Carmichael. Arranged by John Fries. 20th Century,Jazz,Pop,Standards. Score. 2 pages. Be that as it may, this looks suspiciously like a censorship issue, and as a song that debuted in a movie, it would be subject to the restrictions of the Production Code. Later on, in 1957, the Everly Brothers' Wake Up, Little Susie was banned in Boston, because it told of a dating couple who fell asleep at the movies and would be scandalously late coming home.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.931153 Composed by S. Emmanuel. Christian,Contemporary,New Age. Octavo. 11 pages. S. Emmanuel Chambers #4323259. Published by S. Emmanuel Chambers (A0.931153). This piece is the conjunction of two common Christian prayers, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep and the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13). The text of this piece portrays the story of a mischievous young child as they prepare for bed, and are comforted by their parent before they fall asleep. Parts of the melody are quoted from Albert Hay Malottee's (1885-1964) The Lord's Prayer, and are act as a foundation in the low voices. The supporting foundation guides the child's troubled mind into a nullified state of contentment before falling tenderly to sleep. The moments of dissonance represent the child's tarriance of toiling between sleep and fear of the night as their parent consolidates their emotions with reason and assurance of celestial guidance.
