String Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.742474 Composed by Antonio Vivaldi. Arranged by Arte Nova Music Lab. Baroque,Concert,Easter,Standards,World. Score and parts. 50 pages. Arte Nova Music Lab #4601825. Published by Arte Nova Music Lab (A0.742474). Antonio Lucio Vivaldi  4 March 1678 – 28 July 1741) was an Italian Baroque musical composer, virtuoso violinist, teacher, and priest. Born in Venice, the capital of the Venetian Republic, he is regarded as one of the greatest Baroque composers, and his influence during his lifetime was widespread across Europe. He composed many instrumental concertos, for the violin and a variety of other instruments, as well as sacred choral works and more than forty operas. His best-known work is a series of violin concertos known as the Four Seasons. Many of his compositions were written for the all-female music ensemble of the Ospedale della Pietà, a home for abandoned children. Vivaldi had worked there as a Catholic priest for 1 1/2 years and was employed there from 1703 to 1715 and from 1723 to 1740. Vivaldi also had some success with expensive stagings of his operas in Venice, Mantua and Vienna. After meeting the Emperor Charles VI, Vivaldi moved to Vienna, hoping for royal support. However, the Emperor died soon after Vivaldi's arrival, and Vivaldi himself died, in poverty, less than a year later. Taken from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Vivaldi

String Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.808424 Composed by Adolphe-Charles Adam. Arranged by Mark W. Huxhold. Christmas,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 8 pages. Mark Wayne Music, LLC #3686329. Published by Mark Wayne Music, LLC (A0.808424). 2018 Holiday Contest Entry This beautiful arrangement is guided by a less is more philosophy; the violins perform in unison until the final 7 measures and the optional ostinato is omitted to allow for clarity. Faithful to the original vocal/organ score, Adam’s original markings have been retained with bowings added and dashed slurs on dotted rhythms by the editor. In F major, the String Orchestra’s tessitura is optimized without any octave transpositions necessary in the double bass, retaining the wide intervals that add so much to the richness of the harmonies.

Piano - intermediate to advanced - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q6759 Composed by Charles Marie Widor. This edition: Sheet music. Downloadable. Op. 1 und 29. Schott Music - Digital #Q6759. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q6759). Key: E minor.Whereas the organ works by Widor have secured a solid position in the repertoire, his no less elaborate and artistic piano works are known to only a small circle of pianists, probably because the piano works by Debussy and Ravel outdid him in this field. 'Variations de Concert sur un thème original' carried by profound melancholy were published in 1867 for the first time and have remained his non-verifiable opus 1 to this day. They show that the young composer takes the tonal language of J. S. Bach as a starting point, yet gives his cycle of variations, which is reminiscent of the 'Goldberg Variations', its own romantic expression. In 1876 he revised the variations and published them under the slightly modified title of 'Variations sur un Thème original pour piano' Op. 29. Our carefully edited new edition contains both versions (Op. 1 and Op. 29) about which one may say without exaggeration that they should be in the possession of every concert pianist.
