My experience is that simplifying rhythms rarely works as the children will play it how they expect it to go anyway. Rather than simplifying the rhythms themselves, I have written them with the least amount of ties so what they see and hear is the same even if it is slightly unconventional to more advanced musicians. . There are four different parts but they can be played by each instrument. This means you can use the parts that suit your ensemble. Part A - Tune and accompaniment*Part B - Tune and accompaniment*Part C - Mostly open strings and 1st fingersPart D - Bass accompaniment* Part A and B are equal in difficulty level to discourage hierarchy in string sections.The string parts are complete on their own.
