This song is from the popular movie Barbie.  Billie Eilish, who collaborated with her brother, said that the song meant the world to her.  She was inspired by the movie and the main character.  She thought about how she would feel if she was Barbie and wrote about that. 

This arrangement is scored for saxophone choir - 2 sopranos, 2 altos, tenor, and 2 baritones.  There is an optional bass saxophone part that doubles the 2nd baritone.

Pentatonix is one of my favorite acapella groups, and I am thrilled to be able to write an arrangement of this piece for brass quintet. This piece is sweet and relaxing, and is simple enough for a group with intermediate skills.  There is a lot of syncopation, so counting is key, but it is repetitive and intuitive. This is great newer Christmas tune that I hope you will love to play.

Still Still Still is one of the most beautiful Christmas carols that I know of.  Derric Johnson's choral arrangement of this piece is simple and quite effective.

This arrangement for flute choir is a transcription of Derric Johnson's arrangement with an added key change and extra running eighths by me to create a fuller harmony that I felt was better suited for instrumental music.  It is a combination of Still Still Still with a hint of Hark the Herald Angels Sing.  

This arrangement is great for groups that have intermediate musical skill.  

Scored for 3 altos, 3 basses, and contrabass flutes.  There is an optional double string bass part that doubles the contrabass.  

Duration: 3.5 minutes.

Dona Nobis Pacem is a very well-known canon that most musicians have played. This arrangement is a fun study in negative harmony - as the title indicates. Negative harmony is the brainchild of Swiss composer, Ernst Levy. The concept, very simply put, is an inversion of chords and notes centered around an axis. The result is often quite interesting. I am only a beginner at negative harmony, and this song was an experiment, but it turned out to be quite lovely.

Hans Sitt might not be a well-known composer to wind players, as he composed music almost entirely for the strings. Born in Prague into a musical family, he was a violinist, violist, teacher, and composer. His father was a well-known violin maker. Although not pushed into music, he chose music as his profession, and was one of the most sought-after violin teachers of his time. Along with many positions as a performing violinist, he was also an orchestral conductor in several European countries.
