Rich harmonies move the melody along in a dream-like fashion.

This straightforward arrangement, inspired by both the 1974 recording by Prelude and the Linda Ronstadt/Trio versions that came later, distributes the melody throughout the ensemble. 

An excellent opportunity for newbie piccolos: one dedicated player (highest written note: D6) and two doublers in the low register, playing a brief section of whole note chords. (Hear it in the audio excerpt)

A great addition for flute choirs of almost any ability level, After The Gold Rush is a wonderful flashback to the 70s!
