Published by Dacker Music (A0.1139760). The newest addition to my Hymn Tunes for Horn series, this is a contrapuntal setting for horn and euphonium of the popular Christmas carol based on a 17th-century German madrigal by Michael Praetorius. This duo is distilled from my arrangement for brass trio that was written for a trio that I am a member of to play on Christmas Eve. The euphonium part can also be played on trombone, bassoon, cello, or (using the included Bb treble part) TC baritone or tenor sax. Grade 4 - Duration 2:30.
