One of the great hymns of the master of Baião Luiz Gonzaga, Asa Branca speaks very subtly of a very serious problem: the drought in the sertão. The way in which he describes landscapes, seasonality and animals earned Luiz Gonzaga the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). Music brings hope in its composition in a unique genius, where it shows that despite all the difficulties, resilience and hope will reward those who allow this music to touch their heart.

This superstition led us to establish a simile between the mandacaru flower, a prodromal sign of the rain that arrives giving the earth fecundity, and the girl who, getting sick of the doll, becomes a woman.
