What a crowd pleaser!  This elementary piano teaching piece has an original melody which incorporates snippets of famous music classics.  Listen for Old McDonald, The Hallelujah Chorus, The William Tell Overture, I'm a Little Teapot, The Bridal Chorus, Mary Had a Little Lamb and a surprise at the end.  Have the audience keep track of how many of the songs they can identify.  The piece uses whole through eighth notes and rests - including dotted quarter notes.  It in the key of C and stays in the middle C position except for two 8va chords at the end.  Dynamics are used to highlight the individual melodies.

I have carefully written in bow markings that map out what I feel is a smooth way to play this amazing tune. In some areas you'll see fingerings that take you into 2nd position for certain chords, which might be ideal for players with smaller hands. You'll see in the video that I just stay in 1st position except for section D, E, and the very end - it really depends on hand size, dexterity, and personal preference. Also included is a chord chart for guitar accompaniment where you'll see chord shapes for a guitar capo'd at the 5th fret.
