Concert Band - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1039860 Composed by David M. Sterrett. Arranged by David M. Sterrett. Sacred. Score and parts. 21 pages. David Sterrett Music #644719. Published by David Sterrett Music (A0.1039860). This passage from Psalm 42 has been a comfort to me in trying times. I set out to compose a musical setting of the text in hopes that the words and music may be of comfort to others too in seasons of grief, adversity, or doubt. “My tears have been my food both day and night, and all the time, people ask, ‘Where is your God?’ But each day, the Lord pours His unfailing love upon me, and through the night, I sing His songs, praying to God who gives me life.†(Psalm 42:3, 8) I composed the piece originally for a cappella choir, but after finishing, I was inspired to create a transcription for Concert Band as well. This transcription may be performed separately, or combined with choir for more impact if desired.

It was originally an instrumental tune titled I'm Free by Haggart in 1938, when Haggart was a member of Bob Crosby and His Orchestra. The tune was written with a trumpet solo, meant to showcase the talents of band-mate Billy Butterfield. Crosby's orchestra recorded I'm Free the same day it was written.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.1032581 Composed by Dominic M Wright. Christian,Christmas. Octavo. 10 pages. Dominic M Wright #5009059. Published by Dominic M Wright (A0.1032581). An original setting of the lyrics to the well-known carol 'What Child is This?’ For SABT choir and piano accompaniment. Suitable for any Christmas service or concert. Composers Note This piece was originally composed during my recovery from CFS/ME. I was drawn to these particular words because, like me, William Dix suffered a serious illness which strengthened his faith and inspired him to write not just these lyrics, but many other well-known and beloved hymns and carols. The piece was premiered during the annual 'Carols by Candlelight' service at our local church of St Andrews, Kirk Ella in December 2017. The choir worked extremely hard to prepare for the performance and the piece was very well received by both choir and audience. I am sure that your choir and audience will enjoy this piece as much as I enjoyed working on it. Duration approximately 4 minutes. Words: William Chatterton Dix - Public DomainMusic: Original composition by Dominic M Wright - Copyright 2017 Dominic M Wright is an award winning composer based in East Yorkshire, England. He is an experienced singer having sung with the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, Manchester Cathedral Voluntary Choir and the Hull Choral Union in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Sage Gates-head, Durham Cathedral, Manchester Cathedral, Hull Minster and many more. His compositions have been performed across the region, always to audience acclaim.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.799653 Composed by D. M. Gardner. 20th Century,Contemporary,Sacred. Octavo. 62 pages. D. M. Gardner Music #481037. Published by D. M. Gardner Music (A0.799653). An intense hell-fire blazes throughout Day of Wrath. Though it begins quietly and mysteriously with the haunting Dies Irae chant, the audience is swept into a picture of hell painted by light and sound as the piano viciously churns-out its relentless melody against the turmoil of the choir... Driving to the ultimate end: Understanding whom we are to fear. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. Luke 12:5 (King James Version)Day of Wrath is a performance not soon forgotten. Choreographed lights and sound add to the illusion of hell-fire and brimstone, while cello harmonics sail above the choir with an eerie crystalline presence. An opener, a closer... A crowd-pleaser for sure. If you want to break-up the praise and worship a bit, Day of Wrath will certainly wake up the audience!PURCHASE INCLUDES FULL SCORE AND ALL PARTS - Priced as a choral score (so, please purchase one copy per performer...Thank you!)Instrumentation: Cello, Narrator, SATB, Piano, Timpani, Cymbals, Bass DrumPremiere: University of Nebraska at Omaha - University ChorusDifficulty: Intermediate/AdvancedText from KJV version of the Bible and Dies Irae (Tomaso de Celano)To learn more about the composer, please visit https://www.dmgardner.com

Marimba Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.955430 Composed by Neal Fitzpatrick. Arranged by Neal Fitzpatrick. Contemporary,World. Individual part. 6 pages. Neal Fitzpatrick Editions #6048849. Published by Neal Fitzpatrick Editions (A0.955430). This is Impromptu No.18 For Marimba From Twenty Impromptus For Marimba by Neal Fitzpatrick. This set of music for Marimba is based my Twenty Etudes For Guitar. Both being polyphonic instruments the guitar and the marimba are certainly distant cousins so I believe the essence of works for one instrument can be expressed on the other, in either direction. While these pieces may in fact work as etudes for marimba I have purposefully renamed them. Whether or not they work as etudes I will leave up to each individual percussionist and teacher the extent of their didactic usefulness. Ultimately though all music can be used for study and my wish is these pieces can be used for study and performance. They are relatively brief and ideally played in sets, the number and selections being determined by the performer. Guitarist Neal Fitzpatrick has a B.M. from the Hartt School where he studied with Alan Spriestersbach and his M.M. from The Yale School of Music where he studied with Benjamin Verdery. He also studied  extensively with Sharon Isbin and Sal Salvador. Based in Connecticut, he is active as a soloist and in the chamber music scene.
