Diogo Martins #867334. Published by Diogo Martins (A0.1281289). Golden Hour is a captivating musical masterpiece composed by Jvke (Jake Lawson) and arranged for tenor saxophone solo and concert band. This enchanting composition takes its inspiration from the magical moments that occur during the twilight of a sunlit day. As the sun begins to set, casting its warm, golden glow across the landscape, a sense of tranquility and introspection permeates the air. The piece opens with a gentle and lyrical marimba and vibraphone duo playing the iconic melody of the piano that Jvke played. The concert band, in turn, weaves a tapestry of harmonies and textures that complement the soloist's performance. The lush instrumentation adds depth and color to the overall experience, accentuating the serene ambiance of the Golden Hour. Soft woodwind harmonies, shimmering brass chords, and delicate percussion accompaniment provide a seamless backdrop for the saxophone solo, creating a harmonious balance between the soloist and the ensemble. As the piece progresses, the music gradually builds in intensity, representing the gradual transition from twilight to dusk. The interplay between the soloist and the ensemble intensifies, symbolizing the beauty and complexities of life's fleeting moments. In the climax, the saxophone's soaring melodies soar over the powerful ensemble, culminating in a breathtaking and emotionally charged finale. The music captures the essence of the fleeting beauty of a golden hour, leaving the audience captivated and moved by its evocative storytelling.

Bass Trombone,Tenor Trombone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1271282 Composed by Gustav Mahler. Arranged by David Fetter. 20th Century,Romantic Period. 24 pages. Gordon Cherry #863680. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.1271282). The Finale movement of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, (also known as the Resurrection), is a monumental and awe-inspiring composition that serves as the climax of the entire symphony. It is a grand choral movement that combines orchestral forces with vocal soloists and a large choir. In this exquisite section of hushed, whispered, and mysterious music, arranged beautifully by David Fetter, the famous Choral section from the Finale (numbers 32-39 in the score) is set for 8-part Trombone Ensemble. This powerful section of the Finale is emotionally charged and yet is performed at almost a whisper. This arrangement of about 6-minutes in length is suitable for advanced performers. FYI....this is NOT the famous Trombone Choral, rather the hushed, whispered section featuring the chorus. It is truly a work of genius.

Medioevo is a Composition based on impressions from the dark ages. The composer wrote the piece to take you on a journey through this remarkable period of time.Part 1: The Promised Beginning Land Of Departurethe part opens with a decisive rhythm in the lower brass, woodwind and percussion section. The theme played by the woodwinds is written to give the listeners a middle eastern feeling. This represents the crusades. The higher brass section play a nice and static counter theme.Part 2: Enchanted DominionThis section a bit mysterious and magic, played by mallets and flutes. The theme from the Oboe represents the ghost of a warlock trapped on the dominion. As we pas trough the dominion we need the protection of the church represented by the Harpsichord (clavecimbel) and clarinets.Part 3: The rustling ForestsAfter leaving the Enchanted Dominion we gallop with our horse trough the Rustling Forests. These forest show fast winds and have a lyric theme played by the trumpets and saxesPart 4: The SquareOnce trough the Forests we get to the Village square where the market is on going. We have several sales men selling their goods. These are represented in the themes of the woodwinds. The confusion gets to much and we try to hide from the sales men. The trumpets represent this part in a piano 5/4 movement which bring a big contrast trough the noises from the market place. In the end we need to get through the market place so we find a way to keep the sales men away by playing a wonderful legato melody which the dwarf’s taught us.Part 5: Dwarf’sThese social and kind people have a little village outside of the town where joyful melodies sound from both children as adults and elderly dwarf’s. the themes are divided under the different solo players of the woodwind sections.Part 6: Run or HideAfter a nice time with the Dwarf’s we continue our path but soon we face a large army coming our way. What do we do Run or Hide? This part is full of different melodies and counter melodies to represent the indecisiveness of the Dark Ages.Part 7: NeverlandWe arrive in the land of the elves where the tenor sax and horns play an agitato atmosphere to represent our hart beat when we see these beautiful creatures. The themes from the flutes and euphoniums show the grace and beauty of the elves. While the harp creates an elf like atmosphere.Part 8 The castle Gardenswe arrive in the castle gardens. These gardens are the most beautiful in the whole land. It makes the orchestra say Ahh. While the percussion section gives it a magical feeling. After being amassed we soon find out that these gardens are made for the Authorities and paid by our tax money which gives us a double feeling. Should this money not be better spend on good music?Part 9 Black Powderafter we find out the castle lord wrongly used or tax money we go and find some black powder to blow him up. After being hunted down by the castle lord trying to get some black powder. We find ourselves in the glorious fight.Part 10: Rageour glorious fight with the castle lord continues into an enormous climax where we are stroke down and ends up with a one way ticket to the graveyard.Part 11: The GraveyardThe whole orchestra sings a spiritual song to guide us into the afterlives. Alto Saxophone,Piano - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1048927 Composed by An-lun Huang. 20th Century,Contemporary,Multicultural,Traditional,World. Score and part. 25 pages. DoReMi Edition #653319. Published by DoReMi Edition (A0.1048927). Chinese Rhapsody No.3 was composed e in Toronto, Canada , 1988. Huang dedicated the piece to the Canadian Saxophonist Paul Brodie who premiered it in Parry sound of Ontario in the same year. Written in Saibei Folk Style, the music is divided into 5 movements without stop. As usual, Huang didn‘t use any folk song . But the typical taste of Huang’s “Zhang Jia Kou[張家å£] accent†is pretty easy to be identified. With the concert virtuosity, the 1st movement is composed as an emotional Cadenza which expresses the profound affections to the land of Saibei. Using the same Alto Sax., the lyric 2nd movement is followed by a folk dance, the 3rd movement. Chang to a Soprano Saxophone, the 4th movement is sound like a dreamy nocturne which is interrupted by the percussions of the fiery 5th movement. The whole Rhapsody ends on a climax of the Chinese Northern west “wind and percussion “styleâ€. Brodie found more than 300 trills in this piece. Perhaps this is the key to perform the music in real Chinese style. Huang has composed 5 versions of these pieces for different ensembles: saxophone solo with piano, or strings, or winds/brasses, or Chinese traditional orchestra, or symphony orchestra. The attached mp3 was performed by the German saxophonist Jurgen Demmler with pianist Peter Grabinger in 1996. Duration: 20’.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1116837 By Masakazu YAMAMOTO. By Masakazu YAMAMOTO. Christian,Christmas,Contemporary,Religious,Sacred. Score. 4 pages. Motch Music #718491. Published by Motch Music (A0.1116837). Original work by Masakazu Yamamoto. The composition is song for soprano and piano. The lyrics are used from the Latin prayer. This is an introduction characterized by piano arpeggios reminiscent of stars falling. As it gradually settles down from the high notes, the song begins solemnly. The piano, intertwining with the quiet melody, complements the sound while altering the color of the harmonies, much like illuminating the various expressions of a narrative-like song.Transitioning into the latter half after passing through arpeggios that bring to mind the introduction, the piece adopts a tranquil phrase akin to prayer. Alongside the piano, which has taken on a chorale-like resonance, the music becomes fervent. After reaching the climax, following a murmuring-like phrase, the piano combines the chorale-like resonance and the arpeggios from the introduction, quietly closing with a transparent, resonant sound. ----------------------------------------------------- Motch Music All Sheet Music (Sheet Music Plus / Sheet Music Direct)I have a wide selection of sheet music for various instruments such as piano, ensemble, and concert band.
