Choral Choir (SATB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.977048 Composed by Paul SanGregory. Contemporary. Octavo. 14 pages. Distant Engraver Music #4801780. Published by Distant Engraver Music (A0.977048). The awe and mystery of our universe is contemplated in this gently flowing music. The piece is based on a poem about a photograph called the Hubble Deep Field, an image made by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope. While making the image, astronomers pointed the telescope at a seemingly black and empty piece of space, then made time exposures lasting many days. The resulting photo shows ancient galaxies that existed in the universe billions of years ago. They are so far away that their light is only now reaching the telescope – millions, even billions of years after all their stars have died. In other words, while we see nothing in that piece of sky, the telescope can still see what used to be there. In the end, of course, we will never know what, if anything, is still there. We can only stare into empty black space and imagine...

Jazz Combo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.734623 Composed by Eliot Daniel. Arranged by Dennis Ruello. Contemporary. Score and parts. 17 pages. Chicory Music #6692477. Published by Chicory Music (A0.734623). From the second season onwards, the I Love Lucy signature tune we all know so well became the main theme, and one of the most recognizable pieces of music on the planet. It was written by composer Eliot Daniel who cranked it out in an afternoon as a favor to his old Coast Guard buddy Jess Oppenheimer, the show’s producer. Since Daniel still had another year under his exclusive contract to Fox, he asked Oppenheimer to keep his name out of it. Consequently his name does not appear on first or the second season TV credits for what became one of the most popular TV themes. Later, Daniel did seek credit and received royalties from syndicated reruns for the rest of his life. The lyrics were written by Harold Adamson for an episode in the third season in which Lucy believes everyone has forgotten her birthday. So of course Ricky saves the day after a near disaster. This arrangement for Jazz Combo remains faithful to the original theme.Performance Time Approx. 2 minutes 30 seconds

Instrumental Duet Bassoon,Instrumental Duet,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.576214 Composed by David Warin Solomons. Contemporary,Opera. Score and parts. 3 pages. David Warin Solomons #9883. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.576214). ATON is a stage play written by Manfred Strolz and Otmar Rützler which represents Egypt in the time of the Pharoahs but seen through the eyes of modern theatre directors and actors. The modern scenes are spoken but the Egyptian scenes require music, so Manfred and Otmar asked me to write the music for these. The music is composed for various forces as the play progresses, from the full orchestra (woodwind, strings, harp, piano, timpani) and choir down to more intimate moments with single voice or duets, flute and classical guitar or with single voice and bassoon. For each section the pdf file contains score and parts and the sound sample is an electronic preview. As I write, 27 sections have been composed, but more are to come - please just search for Aton in due course for the full picture. The first performance is planned to take place in the Landestheater in Innsbruck during 2015.

Arranged by Dennis Ruello. Contemporary. Score and parts. 12 pages. Chicory Music #6697419. Published by Chicory Music (A0.734624). On October 15, 1951, the very first episode of the I Love Lucy show aired on CBS and became the most watched TV show in the U.S. for four of its seven-year run. Fun trivia about the opening theme song is that during the first season the show opened with their sponsor Philip Morris’ animation of stick figure cartoons of Lucy and Desi climbing down a pack of Philip Morris cigarettes. It was scored with Ferde Grofé’s Jr. The Grand Canyon Suite theme (a composition from 1931).From the second season onwards, the I Love Lucy signature tune we all know so well became the main theme, and one of the most recognizable pieces of music on the planet. Brass Ensemble Trombone - Digital Download SKU: A0.928144 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by P. F. Strohm. Baroque,Contest,Festival,Instructional,Standards. Score and parts. 76 pages. Pete Strohm Music #5041137. Published by Pete Strohm Music (A0.928144). Volume II of this series, containing five J.S. Bach keyboard works from Inventions and Sinfonias, expertly arranged for three Trombones (2 Tenor 1 Bass). This edition contains tempos, ornamentation, articulation and dynamics to help guide players with less experience performing baroque music. Ornaments are authentic, either from Bach or his immediate students. Tempos, dynamics, and most articulations are my recommendations. The first trombone part is provided in both tenor and bass clef. There are also two sets of first and second parts, one with original ornaments and one with the ornaments realized in suggested notation, as well as a guide to interpreting ornaments. The Bass Trombone has no ornaments added. Performers are, of course, free to devise their own interpretations. Each volume of Bach for Trombone Trio is carefully compiled to work as a single, compatible set with a playing time under ten minutes, excellent for use in both contest and recital. Medium-Advanced level of difficulty. Performance time for all five works is 8:17. Member, ASCAP.

String Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1368932 Composed by Martin Lass. Chamber,Children,Classical,Instructional. 32 pages. MA Lass & I Lass #953274. Published by MA Lass & I Lass (A0.1368932). Five Australian Scenes for String Orchestra was conceived with specific iconic Australian places in mind, as well as with the intention to convey the experience of these places programmatically through the music. From this point of view, the pieces could have just as successfully been called Australian Days. As such, each piece represents a kind of day journey in microcosm, like a travel diary set to music. The points of interest in each day are indicated sequentially in the music. The pieces were written with the intermediate student string orchestra in mind. As such, they explore a wide variety of string techniques, dynamic and tonal contrasts, styles, and moods. Although the writing never takes a student out of first position barring one solo cello passage, and the fingering avoids the use of cello forward extensions and minimises high 3s for the upper strings, the technical, rhythmic, ensemble, and intonational challenges put these pieces at the intermediate level. There are ossias and other alternatives for greater challenge or greater ease. Fingering has been offered where appropriate. And bowing has been meticulously indicated. This particular piece, Snowy Mountains, is set in the alpine region of Australia, in Thredbo in the state of NSW, which is a popular ski resort. The scene opens with the majesty and austerity of the alpine mountains. Then, the cold sets the teeth chattering and the feet stamping with a paraphrase from Vivaldi's Winter from The Four Seasons but which transforms into the iconic Australian song, Waltzing Matilda. From there, fun is had in the snow followed by the journey up the ski lift to the top of the ski fields. Then, of course, there is the exhilarating ski journey down the mountain! After more fun in the snow, the day ends, everybody tired but happy!

String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.526102 By Aerosmith. By Steven Tyler and Steven Victor Tallarico. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Pop,Rock. 18 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #4801352. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.526102). I've loved this song for a long time, so you can imagine how happy I was when I was hired as the cellist for Aerosmith's Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas residency -- getting to perform this song numerous times with the band themselves has been an amazing experience! This arrangement of Dream On truly does the original justice, with all the soaring melodies, dark harmonies, and fun guitar riffs of the original (modified to be more string-friendly, of course). I guarantee you'll have a LOT of fun rocking out on this with your string quartet! Rated advanced-intermediate for a few tricky figures and some occasional weird rhythms, but this will definitely be sightreadable for professionals and learnable for students. Sarah “Cellobat†Chaffee is an in-demand acoustic & electric cellist and string arranger. Currently, she performs with legendary rock band Aerosmith in their “Deuces Are Wild†residency show, and she is the principal cellist for the Raiders House Band, playing for a crowd of 60,000 at all of the team's home games. She also plays with many other groups including Premiere Wedding Music, Bella Electric Strings, the Femmes Of Rock, and David Perrico’s Pop Strings Orchestra. Sarah has performed and recorded with numerous other artists including Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Halsey, Michael Bublé, Sarah Brightman, and Lady A. She is the exclusive arranger for a number of award-winning wedding and event companies all across the United States, including Premiere Wedding Music, Las Vegas Music Oasis, and Impulse Strings, and she has created custom arrangements for many other ensembles all over the world.
