Alto Saxophone,Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.761487 Composed by Keri Degg. Jazz. Score and part. 15 pages. Masquerade Music #3867477. Published by Masquerade Music (A0.761487). An infectiously catchy melody make this jazz-style jaunt incredibly fun to play; for Eb or Bb Saxophone (both parts included) and piano. Sunny Blue meanders through various styles; a straight start (mainly 6/8), launching into a groovy swing (following with optional improvisation, or use one of the two written out 'solos' provided). The journey then gravitates to a waltz, before completing its course by ending with a swing ending, and dramatic finish. Sunny Blue has a duration of 3'22 minutes, and is aimed at grade 6/+ players and makes a fantastic concert item. The YouTube video demo shows the whole piece performed on alto sax. You will however receive a universal piano score, and then two saxophone parts (one for Eb, and one for Bb sax).

Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1119919 By Mike Lyons. By Mike Lyons. Classical,Contemporary. Score and parts. 111 pages. Lyons Music Services #721269. Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.1119919). Festival:(Time 7:05) This is an original, previously unpublished piece, composed specifically for the ICF festival 2022. It is a programmatic piece in 3 sections, with each section being a description of some aspect of the word Festival. I have taken the broadest definition of the word festival to give as much scope for variety as possible.  The first section opens with ‘sunrise’ on the day of the festival, shown by long-held open fourth chords, with the snapping of the violin pizzicatos (perhaps) being the rattle of tent lines/guys. The bass clarinet solo then shows people waking up and stretching, yawning and just before Letter A, the descending figures throughout the ensemble bring us all together to start the festival. From Letter A, one sets off at a marching pace through the crowds. We hear a mish-mash of vendors’ calls overlaying each other, repeating variations of the same motif and this little tune develops as it moves around the festival site, sometimes loud and sometimes faint. At some point, of course, arguments break out (e.g. Letter B between the strings and brass), but generally, the mood is business-like. At Letter C, there comes a parade of minstrels through the field which eventually fades off into the distance. At Letter D, we look at a different kind of festival. Not necessarily religious, but certainly spiritual. The harp and bell sounds evoke far-eastern temples while the string harmonics evoke an eerie stillness which is broken only by the melodic fragments (based on the 4ths of the first section) which pass around the orchestra. The theme is first heard on the Cor Anglais (echoed by the harp) which gives it a warmer, less piercing, sound than the oboe. The quartal chords at b.149 denote the vast mysteries of the cosmos. As our gaze widens, we are suddenly brought back to Earth with a rush as yet another kind of festival is evoked. This time we are looking briefly at the Indian subcontinent. Where fakirs charm snakes and young boys climb ropes only to disappear. The third and final section returns us to the British Isles, where the Celts are making merry in a festival. There is dancing, singing, feasting and drinking a-plenty. And, just when you think it’s all over, there’s a final push to get another dance going. The final chords are a reminder of the opening as we finish our revels as the sun descends below the horizon in a beautiful sunset.

Small Ensemble Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1031729 Composed by K.L. King. Arranged by James Cutter. Folk,Holiday,Instructional,Patriotic,Standards,Traditional. Score and parts. 11 pages. James Cutter #3536147. Published by James Cutter (A0.1031729). Karl King's best-known composition is his Barnum and Bailey's Favorite. In that march, he is able to conjure up a magnificent scene of the old circus tents -- all the aromas, all the sounds, all the sights, and, of course, the circus band. King in 'A Night in June' he transports you to a simpler time. With images of sitting on the porch at evening listening to the crickets sipping on ice tea and just enjoying life. This arrangement is for Woodwind Quintet; where the French Horn has the melody for the majority of the time. Usually in woodwind quintet settings French Horn plays a support role with the Flute or oboe playing the melody. In this arrangement the horn gets to shine. This is a great teaching piece for an advancing Woodwind Quintet. It does have some tricky key signatures for all of the parts but would make a great supplement to a summer music camp or music program looking to challenge a young ensemble.

B-Flat Trumpet,Drums,Euphonium,Horn,Trombone/Baritone B.C.,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1180809 Composed by John Philip Sousa. Arranged by Matthew Nunes. Chamber,Instructional,March. 20 pages. Matthew Nunes Music #780663. Published by Matthew Nunes Music (A0.1180809). These pieces, originally written for Trumpets and Drums, were published in 1884 when John Philip Sousa was in his fourth year as Director of the Marine Band. This small collection has now been arranged with eight different groupings in mind: two trumpets, trumpet/horn, trumpet/trombone, two horns, horn/trombone, two trombones, trombone/tuba, and two tubas. As these versions are all in the same key, less likely pairings such as trumpet/tuba and horn/tuba can be performed with players viewing their respective parts. I intend this arrangement to be useful to instructors for multiple reasons: learning clefs, mastering partials, studying form and construction on a small scale, and testing memorization. The multiple versions allow instructors continued use as their students’ needs develop. Of course, wherever trombone is named the euphonium is readily substituted. Treble clef readers should use the Trumpet parts, while Bass clef readers can use the Trombone parts.

Cello,Instrumental Duet,Violin - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1316385 Composed by Alvin Greiner, George Scheck, and Rod Gordon Parker. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Christmas,Holiday,Multicultural,Pop,World. 7 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #905129. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.1316385). Donde Esta Santa Claus? was released in 1958 by Puerto Rican singer Augie Rios, who was only 12 at the time. The fun melody, lovely orchestral and vocal backgrounds, and of course the adorable delivery by its young singer quickly made the song a huge hit, and it is still beloved to this day! It has since been covered by numerous other artists and made appearances in various movies and TV shows -- so you definitely can't go wrong having this one in your gig books. This Cellobat arrangement for violin and cello duet is the perfect addition to your Christmas gig binders; it's lots of fun to play and to listen to, and you're sure to get your audience singing along! Rated easy intermediate -- there are a few syncopated rhythms to pay attention to, but this will be playable for students and easily sightreadable for professionals. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee earned her bachelor's degree in cello performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and is now based in Las Vegas. She currently performs with Aerosmith in their Deuces Are Wild residency at The Park MGM Theater, and she regularly performs at Allegiant Stadium as a member of the house band for the Las Vegas Raiders football team. Sarah is also the principal cellist in David Perrico's Pop Strings Orchestra, a world-renowned 14-piece dance band, and she plays regularly for Premiere Wedding Music, Bella Electric Strings, and the Femmes Of Rock. Sarah has performed and recorded with many other artists including Halsey, Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Michael Bublé, Kygo, Ricky Martin, Sarah Brightman, Il Divo, and Lady Antebellum. Piano,Vocal,Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.504884 By ABBA. By Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus. Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. Pop. Score. 6 pages. Published by Mario Stallbaumer (A0.504884). With this sheet music, you can play The Winner Takes It All by ABBA on piano! It's an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement of the full song, in the original key of Gb major. The vocal melody is included in the piano part, so it makes for a perfect piano solo cover. Of course, you can also use this piano arrangement to accompany a singer, or sing along yourself - this sheet music includes a staff for the vocals, as well as the song's full lyrics! The Winner Takes It All was the first single from ABBA's 1980 album Super Trouper, which became the best-selling album of that year in the UK. The song became a huge international success, and their last top 10 hit in the US before the band broke up in 1982. It is often assumed that the famous ballad was inspired by the divorce between Björn Ulvaeus (who wrote the song's lyrics) and Agnetha Fältskog (who sang the lead vocals), but Ulvaeus said the song was the experience of a divorce, but it's fiction. 'Cause one thing I can say is that there wasn't a winner or a loser in our case. A lot of people think it's straight out of reality, but it's not. In any case, The Winner Takes It All is a fantastic ballad, an iconic hit from the early 80s, and it makes for a fantastic piano cover!

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.956895 Composed by Charles Francois Gounod. Arranged by Woods Only. Holiday,Love,Romantic Period,Sacred,Wedding,World. 12 pages. Woods Only, Arrangements #6474033. Published by Woods Only, Arrangements (A0.956895). This version of this wonderful song is made for woodwind quintet where it can be freely performed in religious and wedding ceremonies, ideal for young music beginners and even professional music school teachers. It maintains the essence of the original composition, where this time the solo is shared by two instruments that counterpoint the melody that runs through the course of the song. The piece is composed of a melody by French Romantic composer Charles Gounod specially designed to overlap with Prelude No. Although published in instrumental versions and equipped for various texts during Gounod's lifetime, the claim that he never actually wrote it seems to be literally true. The version of Bach's prelude used by Gounod has the addition of a bar found only in the manuscript of Christian Friedrich Gottlieb Schwencke and the printed edition of Nikolaus Simrock which was based on it, but not in the other Bach manuscripts or the printed work of the scholar Bischoff or G.

Instrumental Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1271184 By Billie Eilish. By Billie Eilish O'Connell and Finneas O'Connell. Arranged by Thomas Gunther. Children,Contemporary,Film/TV. Individual part. 4 pages. Thomas Gunther Music Productions #863576. Published by Thomas Gunther Music Productions (A0.1271184). About the arrangement  This is pianist/arranger Thomas Gunther's beautiful and highly accurate piano solo arrangement of the 2023 Barbie Movie features Billie Eilish's song WHAT I WAS MADE FOR.  It includes even Billie's quiet humming passages. This solo piano version can be played all by itself, or with Billie's recording of the song.It is easy enough to learn for pianists that have no amazing techniqual skills, but can be challanging in different ways, as explained below. From the Arranger Thomas Gunther  The most challenging task when writing this solo piano arrangement of What I Was Made For was to notate Billie's rhythm accurately. Her melodic rhythm is very important as it supports the flow of the lyrics perfectly. Notating a singer's rhythm can unfortunately never be 100% perfect (notation is by definition quantized), but I think I got very close. An other challenge was to get the accompaniment sound like the original without stepping on the melody notes. Looking at my final version I think it is as good as it gets for a piano adaption of this highly emotional song.I really hope all you Billie Eilish fans out there will enjoy playing this arrangement! How difficult is it As mentioned earlier, the song looks simple, but to play it well there is a lot of things the pianist has to take care of. The most challenging aspect is to sustain some notes by either using clever fingering or employing the sustain pedal. Also, dynamics are really important, especially when ballancing the accompaniment against the melody. Fingering I included fingering numbers to give the pianist a starting point. But fingering is a highly subjective affaire. Every pianist should feel free to adapt her/his own fingering as see fit. Sustain pedal usage The sustain pedal usage is very important in this arrangement (I included sustain pedal markings for this very reason). For one, it helps sustaining some notes that can't be held otherwise, and of course to make the sound fuller (more cinematic). It is important to use the pedal to create a sense of space (distance). After all, the original recording uses a lot of reverb to achieve that. Chord Symbols I did not include pop chord symbols because the harmony to the the song is very simple and based around 4 diatonic chords. It would just cludder up the score. At PopJazzKeys.com/Barbie I talk a little bit about the chords.
