Full Orchestra - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1119845 Composed by William Pagan-Perez. Multicultural,World. Score and parts. 38 pages. William Pagan-Perez #721189. Published by William Pagan-Perez (A0.1119845). Taino March is a single-movement piece for the Youth Orchestra by Composer William Pagán-Pérez. The work is in the key of D Major. This piece was inspired totally by The Imperial March (Darth Vader Theme) by the legendary composer John Williams and analysis from this video https://youtu.be/m3xPOs9CtJ4. Composer Pagán-Pérez followed some teachings organized in Volume I of the Suzuki Methods to compose the piece for the string sections and a grade level 1 or 2 for the wind and brass instruments (rhythms, melodies, or range). The key of D Major can be a challenge for the winds and brass (especially for clarinets and trumpets in Bb), but music teachers, conductors, and students will manage the obstacles by practicing scales and arpeggios. Instrumentation: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet in Bb, Bassoon, Horn in F, Trumpet in Bb, Trombone, Tuba, Cymbals, Glockenspiel, Xylophone, Snare Drum, Tenor Drum or Low Tom, Bass Drum, Violin I, Violin II, Viola, Cello, Double Bass.

H. Bayly. Arranged by Ifen Chuang, Chien-Ming Chen. Children,Folk. 9 pages. Dr. James Chen & Ifen Chuang #38347. Published by Dr. James Chen & Ifen Chuang (A0.865078). This lovely tune for kid has a different arrangement, not just for kids but also for the kids with great performance ability. There are two sections of the arrangement. With learning for a short period of time, the students can play the melody easily. The second part has more techinical development. Those students can move fingers fast and great musicality can manage the second portion with more practice. However, it's not bad to just perform two times in a roll. The arrangement has different parts for any other instruments. With five differents parts, any instrument player can pick up and play. No matter of what instrument you play, each part is fit for practice. When performing with the piano, just follow the part for your instrument, then you are ready to perform. The parts are transposed for C instruments(violin, flute, oboe....), F instruments(French Horn....), bB instruments(clarinet, trumpet, sop Saxophone...), bE instruments(alto Saxophone...), and C instrument with Bass clef(Cello....).

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.856242 By Fatboy Slim. By Dale Peters, Joseph Walsh, and Norman Cook. Arranged by Liz Garnett. A Cappella. Octavo. 16 pages. Liz Garnett #5325429. Published by Liz Garnett (A0.856242). Fatboy Slim's classic house anthem is an extravaganza of layering and timbral variety. Bringing it into the world of acoustic a cappella (i.e. possible to sing both without amplification and without looping tech) has all kinds of interesting challenges from both technical and artistic perspectives. We may not have percussion at our disposal, but we can play with a wide variety of vocables to create different sonic textures, and by handing off phrases between singers you not only get the opportunity to manage breathing, but get to create all kinds of fun patterns of interplay.

Guitar Ensemble Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797818 By Supertramp. By Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Pop,Rock. Score and parts. 24 pages. Derek Hasted #6345113. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.797818). TAKE THE LONG WAY HOME (Supertramp) - 4 GUITARS/LARGE ENSEMBLEFor Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.Derek Hasted writes This is an arrangement for 4 guitars (or a large ensemble) of Supertramp’s 'Take The Long Way Home'.The original is nothing less than spectacular, running for a full 5 minutes with verse, chorus and instrumental breaks, and utilising rich orchestration and texture. I’ve captured all of the material in my arrangement, changing the key just slightly so that the shapes and melody are comfortable, and simplifying one or two non-guitar-friendly progressions in the breaks. The bass-line and harmony are close to the original. Guitar 4 could be played an octave lower on a contra guitar, although I’ve used subharmonics in the opening to give the illusion of a deeper bass than a guitar can manage. In order to make the piece music-stand-friendly, I’ve needed to use repeat marks meaning that the second verse has the same bass-line as the first, but a simple change in volume will provide a suitable feeling of building as the piece progresses. The opening section needs to imitate the indefinite sustain of high-pitched violins. By using harmonics across all four parts, and interleaving the repetitions, we can get a convincing sustain (or plucking at random times across the parts, or even a tremolo would also create the illusion of indefinite sustain). But if it doesn’t work in your ensemble, simply start the piece at A and omit all harmonics from that point onwards. My arrangement will suit an intermediate ensemble. Parts 3 and 4 are slightly easier, but skilled players on these lines can make magic happen by a confident use of articulation to shape the music’s texture.I hope you enjoy performing this!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1031983 Composed by Gloria Cangahuala. A Cappella,Contemporary. Octavo. 10 pages. Published by Gloria Cangahuala #5713427. Published by Published by Gloria Cangahuala (A0.1031983). The Love Which Makes Us One is a composition for SATB choir with piano accompaniment. It is based on a sonnet by Christina Rossetti (1830-1894) entitled I loved you first: but afterwards your love from her Monna Innominata, a series of 14 sonnets. I loved you first: but afterwards your love is one of Rossetti’s love poems; it simply yet profoundly expresses the existence of love as being made possible only through the complete melding of two people as one entity. The Love Which Makes Us One is best suited for advanced intermediate to professional level choirs. Competitive high school and college choirs should be able to manage it. The piece involves continuous two-against-three rhythms with the choir vs. piano. In addition, there is one extended a capella section that requires the choir to stay on pitch for the piano re-entry. Tenors need to be able to sing the G above middle C, and basses need to be able to sing the F below C3.Duration: 5:40World premiere performance by Freudig Singers of Western New York on March 7, 2020, Buffalo, NY.(Please note that the mp3 file associated with this listing is a midi rendering only. No lyrics are used, although the vocal parts are sung.)

Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1438470 By Graham Hamilton. By Graham Hamilton. 21st Century,Classical,Contest,Festival,Historic,Medieval. 93 pages. Hambone Music #1018489. Published by Hambone Music (A0.1438470). A beautiful slow melody in 4/4 followed by a rousing 6/4 trek with fanfares then returning to the slow melody in 4/4. Not overly difficult but players should be around Grade 5 (ABRSM) and intermediate level concert bands, school bands and symphonic wind ensembles should manage it easily. Inspired by an old ruined church in my town called the 'Cross Kirk' during the times of the Cromwellian invasion of Scotland.Part 1 It is around the year 1650. A novice monk awakes from his slumber to the echoes of prayers and holy chanting coming through the cloisters. After he rises, he readies the oxen for a trek down the St. Andrews Road to the nearby satellite site of the priory - the site of the modern day St Andrew's cemetery.Part 2  It is an arduous trek over a muddy, rocky, unprepared track with heavy carts, with oxen straining to pull the load. They stop for a breather (3:09) and the impressive vistas are observed and the flag at 'Auld Neidpath' is just visible, reflected in the noble theme between the arduous oxen trekking theme.Part 3 The caravan starts to speed up; the oxen being startled by the sounds of fanfare trumpets coming from behind - a brave group of knights have broken through English lines and speed towards Neidpath to reinforce the besieged occupants. As they pass the wagon train, the fanfares get louder until the party reach the head of the train where the lead Knight halts to show piety to the Hieromonk who blesses him and his knights. The novice looks on awe-inspired at the brave knights, with noble faces, resplendent in shining armour, with banners flapping in the wind.  No time to stop! The knights remount and continue on, the fanfares trailing off into the distance. The wagon train slows down having reached its destination.Part 4  The novice is back at the priory, reflecting on seeing knights for the first time (receiving their blessing); their nobility and bravery impressed upon him and retires to his cell for the evening, the evening prayers and chants again echoing through the cloisters . As he closes his eyes, his mind returns to the knights and a smile crosses his face as he gently drifts off to sleep, as the final bell of the day tolls.

Difficulty: mostly Medium. The range for this piece has a few extreme options . If you have any tenors who happily sing falsetto theres a C5 moment, or any bass who can manage a low C thats how the piece would impressively end. Rest of piece is normal range. Youtube link is in the similar fun spirit, though not replica. All arrangements have been successfully performed by Blokes Notes a non-auditioned community mens choir in Port Macquarie Australia .

Small Ensemble - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.956662 Composed by Felix Bartholdy Mendelssohn. Arranged by Catriona Melville-Mason. Romantic Period. Score and parts. 127 pages. C Melville-Mason #6735335. Published by C Melville-Mason (A0.956662). This is an arrangement of Mendelssohn’s overture The Hebrides (Fingal’s Cave), intended for a medium-sized woodwind group of perhaps 20 – 30 players.  It has been categorised as ‘advanced’, as the length and tempo of the work make it quite challenging.  However, provided the main parts are covered by competent players, those with less experience can either double, judiciously omitting any problem sections, or opt for the appropriate ‘easier’ add-on part. This is great fun to attempt, even if your ensemble may not manage it up to performance standard! The piece is scored for the following instrumentation: Essential Parts: Part 1: Flute Part 2: Flute Part 3: Oboe Part 4: Clarinet in B-flat Part 5: Clarinet in B-flat (contains essential divisi, so minimum of 2 players essential) Part 6: Clarinet in B-flat Part 7: Clarinet in B-flat  OR          Part 7: Alto Saxophone Part 8: Alto Saxophone Part 9: Alto Saxophone Part 10: Bassoon              OR          Part 10: Bass Clarinet in B-flat (low C instrument essential)   Optional add-ons:   Easier Flute/Oboe Low Clarinet in B-flat Easier Alto Saxophone Easier Tenor Saxophone Mini-Bassoon in F (an extra, NOT an easy, part) Easier Bassoon   Mendelssohn visited Scotland in 1829 and, after a tour of the Highlands, travelled by steamer from Fort William to Oban and thence to the Hebridean island of Mull.  From there, he made the short boat trip to the small island of Staffa, to visit Fingal’s Cave – a sea cave formed of hexagonal basalt columns, with a highly intriguing natural acoustic. The Hebrides overture was inspired by this segment of Mendelssohn’s Scottish travels.  The work is an early example of a tone poem: a musical representation of the scenery, wind and weather of the Scottish Hebridean islands, reflecting their sudden and infinite changeability. After some revisions, the overture received its first performance in May 1832 and remains a favourite with audiences to this day.  It has been central in establishing – and sustaining – the popularity of Fingal’s Cave as a tourist destination. This arrangement was originally created for a woodwind course held on another Scottish island – Skye, which is the largest and most northerly of the Inner Hebrides.
