An amazing Soulful song by Marlena Shaw which my band has performed for 10 years and the most recent arrangement done in 2021. Rhythm section parts are transcribed for those that find it difficult to comp/read chords and improvise. To recreate the original track as closely as possible there are 4 keyboard parts that cover much of the production on the original. With Hammond organ, electric piano and a keyboard strings part. In addition this arrangement has my line up using saxophones but I have re-arranged those parts for Brass too. There is also parts for live strings in a quartet format with a score and can be expanded to a large ensemble giving a full sound. Also included is a score for lead vocals and backing and piano for rehearsal purposes.
