Soprano voice,Vocal Solo - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1492607 Composed by Thomas Moore. Arranged by Alex Nunes Rodrigues. Folk. 2 pages. Alex Rodrigues #1069285. Published by Alex Rodrigues (A0.1492607). The Last Rose of Summer is a work deeply rooted in Irish culture, originally penned as a poem by the renowned poet and composer Thomas Moore in 1805. Moore, regarded as Ireland’s national poet, was inspired by an 'Old Blush' rose while staying at Jenkinstown Castle in County Kilkenny, Ireland. The poem was published as part of his Irish Melodies collection between 1807 and 1834, and later set to music by fellow Irishman John Stevenson. The song gained widespread popularity and was incorporated into the opera Martha by the German composer Friedrich von Flotow, which premiered in 1847 in Vienna. This sheet music has been adapted for voice and piano, preserving the original melody true to the composition by Moore and Stevenson. The piano arrangement has been simplified to provide an accessible experience for music teachers who, even without extensive piano skills, wish to accompany their students. This arrangement maintains the melodic and emotional essence of the piece, offering a version that honors its traditional nuances while making it approachable for beginner to intermediate musicians. The Last Rose of Summer captures the essence of melancholy and the passage of time—universal themes reflected in the farewell to the last vestige of a vibrant summer. The melody, paired with Moore’s poetry, evokes a profound sense of loss and longing, with the solitary rose serving as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of life and the seasons. The simplicity and beauty of this piece have made it a classic, both in literature and music, perpetuating Irish tradition and touching the hearts of listeners worldwide.

Small Ensemble Cello,Clarinet,Flute,Piano,Trombone,Trumpet,Violin - Digital Download SKU: A0.818293 Composed by Stephen R Dalrymple (Dalrymple Designs). Contemporary. Score and parts. 109 pages. Stephen R Dalrymple #4991045. Published by Stephen R Dalrymple (A0.818293). Sketches of Christ Movement 3 Though I Was Blind; Now I SeeTone Poem for Cello and Piano and Piano by Stephen R Dalrymplebased on John 9, the account of the interactions of the man born blind, Jewish authorities, and Jesus Christtranscribed for solo flute, clarinet, trumpet, euphonium/trombone, and violin   Sketches of Christ is a 3 movement work by Stephen R Dalrymple intended for the concert stage (contrasted with preludes and offertories at church). It was originally titled Sonata for Cello and Piano. As I composed similar works, I realized that, although I have used the concepts of sonata form in various movements, because these pieces reflect the drama of selected passages of the Bible, Tone Poem was a more fitting genre title. I have begun the process of transcribing these Tone Poems for additional instruments.   I consider these Tone Poems as contemporary classical music. I have used modal harmonies; polychords and polytonality; free dissonance; atonality, mixed meters, etc. to convey the drama of the Bible.   Sketches of Christ is based on 3 episodes from Christ’s Life: The calming of the Sea of Galilee, Mary and Martha, and the healing of the man born blind.    This score is movement 3 of a 3 movement tone poem, originally scored and premiered as a sonata for Cello and Violin. It is presented here for 5 additional solo instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Euphonium (or Trombone) and Violin.  â€ƒSketches of Christ is written in 20th Century Classical Music composition techniques. Various movements employ a mix of bitonality, modal harmony, deliberate dissonance, and mixed meter. Each movement dramatizes an event form the Life of Christ. This movement expresses the interactions of the man born blind, Jewish authorities, and Jesus Christ from John 9.  â€ƒThe score shows the parts for cello and piano, but individual parts are provided for the other solo instruments.  â€ƒIncludes 14 scores: Full Score for cello and piano letter size; Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Euphonium (or trombone), and Violin solo parts; Full Score for cello and small page format for performing from a 10 inch tablet and the same solo parts for 10 inch tablet. tablet (Tell your computer which pages you want to print. There are programs online that will allow you to split pdf files so that you can choose the correct part of the pdf for your tablet.)  â€ƒThe 3 movements of the tone poem are published separately. This tone poem is actually a more like a solo instrument and piano duet rather than a solo with a piano accompaniment.

Concert Band - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1190055 By Trevor Denyer. By Friedrich von Flotow. Arranged by Trevor Denyer. 19th Century,Romantic Period. Score and Parts. 109 pages. Trevor Denyer #789691. Published by Trevor Denyer (A0.1190055). Friedrich von Flotow is best known for his opera Martha which has many memorable melodies. Sadly Rübezahl (literally Turnip Counter bu refers to a mythical giant) is largely neglected, but contains many lyrical and rhythmical themes. This arrangement works really well for Concert Band; giving all instruments something to enjoy. My edited and corrected score and parts for Orchestra is also available from this site.As usual with my score; print the parts double-sided as presented and the page turns will work.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.741923 Composed by M. Ryan Taylor. 20th Century,A Cappella,Christian,Christmas,Contemporary,Sacred. Octavo. 6 pages. Vocal Works #484783. Published by Vocal Works (A0.741923). It is difficult to find Christmas music that focuses on the role of Joseph, Christ’s foster father. That is one of the reasons I chose to set this text, it is a part of the story that is often left out. The other reason is that this it contains one of the first New Testament prophecies concerning Christ, the revelation that Jesus will save his people from their sins. That seems to be what Joseph needed to know at the time. Joseph was perhaps the third convert, after Mary and Martha. Demo: https://mryantaylor.bandcamp.com/track/joseph-thou-son-of-david-demo . . . Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
