I present to you Rêveries agitées, an expressive ballad for piano solo. As the composer, I wanted to explore the contrasting moods within this composition.
 The sheet music for 'Rêveries agitées' was meticulously created using Sibelius software, ensuring accurate representation of the musical score. The MIDI sample, played by Note Performer, offers a respectable rendition of the piece.
 Drawing upon my knowledge of traditional harmony acquired in the first semester of 2018, I crafted this short composition. 'Rêveries agitées' employs the evocative sounds of the natural minor and harmonic minor scales, showcasing a compelling interplay of melody and accompaniment.
 The piece follows an A B A' form: the A section establishes a serene and tender atmosphere, while the B section introduces an intense and aggressive dynamic with a falling melody that ends in suspension. Fast passages punctuate this section. Finally, the A' section returns, concluding the composition in a poignant and melancholic mood.
