This is a fun and simple arrangement that gives your Middle School choir exactly what they want - memes. Make sure you put a different song on your program and Rick Roll your audience - I like introducing it as an over-the-top classical piece, such as O Fortuna. This joke works great as an opening to your concert. The performance runs about 3 minutes. The bridge includes a 3-part split, but for younger choirs you can cut the lower alto part and just have two groups to make it easier. The piano part should be kept energetic and separated throughout.

This is a heavily simplified arrangement of this song that is doable at the end of the first year. Even with simplification, the melody - which everyone plays unison at the beginning - will be the most difficult part. Take time with it, break it down, and help them get used to those rests. After that, there are three sections that I have labeled in the score that are either harmony or melody. Each instrument plays each of these parts at some point in the piece, but not at the same time. This makes rehearsing and learning the harmony together easy! Obviously, you should put the title of some other piece in your program and Rick Roll your audience - I introduced this piece as Symphony in G by Mozart. This is a really fun way to open a concert.

This simplified version of Rick Astley's meme-famous piece is excellent for young string students. Everyone gets a turn playing the melody, and the quartet only splits into two rhythmic groups, making this a good introduction to small ensemble skills. The melody is the most difficult part to play - plan to spend a good amount of time rehearsing and practicing this. And of course, if possible you should introduce this piece as something else and Rick Roll your audience - I usually say we are playing a theme from Symphony in G my Mozart. Enjoy this piece!

Especially for You received many positive reviews from older and contemporary critics, who deemed it one of the strongest of each singer's album, but also dubbed the song a classic. The song had commercial success, reaching number one in the UK, Ireland, Greece and Belgium and peaking inside the Top 5 in countries including Australia, New Zealand, France, Finland and Switzerland. In 2015 the song was voted by the British public as the nation's 20th favourite 1980s number one in a poll for ITV.

Step Back in Time is a song by Australian singer Kylie Minogue from her third studio album, 'Rhythm of Love' (1990). It was released as the album's second single (following 'Better the Devil You Know') on 22 October 1990, written, arranged, and produced by the powerhouse team of Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Considered one of her best singles, the song charted well across the world - an accompanying music video was directed by visual artist Nick Egan, which paid homage to 1970s culture and figures. Since its release, Step Back in Time has been used in several media including an appearance in the 2013 British comic science fiction film The World's End. Available for concert band for the first time, turn back the clock and relive the glory days of disco, paying tribute to the legendary Kylie along the way.
