'Charade' is a 1963 American romantic comedy mystery film produced and directed by Stanley Donen, starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. It was praised by critics for its screenplay and the chemistry between Grant and Hepburn, often called the best Hitchcock movie Hitchcock never made. It was filmed on location in Paris and contains animated titles by Maurice Binder, with a wonderful score by Henry Mancini featuring the popular theme song. This charming piece, 'Latin Snowfall', is taken from the film's soundtrack and is a star moment for your lead Trombone player (it was originally written for British player, Don Lusher) and also includes an optional Alto Flute part (which may need some subtle amplification) to bring out the full character of Mancini's luxurious sound. A perfect chart for something a little different at Christmas, or perhaps at any time of year...

Witness is a 1985 American neo-noir crime thriller film directed by Peter Weir, and starring Harrison Ford, Kelly McGillis and Lukas Haas, with Jan Rubeš, Danny Glover, Josef Sommer, Alexander Godunov, Patti LuPone and Viggo Mortensen in supporting roles. The film focuses on a police detective (Ford) protecting an Amish woman (McGillis) and her young son (Haas), who becomes a target after he witnesses a brutal murder in a Philadelphia train station. ~ Wikipedia
This is an arrangement for concert band of the incidental music which was played while Harrison Ford's police detective character, John Book, assisted the Amish community with building a barn for a young Amish couple of newlyweds.
(FYI: Earlier in the film, he had repaired a large birdhouse which he had accidentally knocked down with his car. So the Amish folks put him to work on the barn raising, as they called it.
Also, before he was an actor, Ford was a licensed, professional carpenter.  One of his clients at that time was Steven Spielberg.)
This piece basically plays like a canon (e.g., Pachelbel's Canon in D). It's performance time is approximately 3:45-4:00.

Sally in Our Alley is a 1931 British romantic comedy drama film directed by Maurice Elvey and starring Gracie Fields, Ian Hunter, and Florence Desmond.

A British soldier (Ian Hunter) goes off to fight in World War I, with his girlfriend (Gracie Fields) waiting and worried at home. He is soon wounded in battle and crippled. He comes to the conclusion that she would be better off believing that he has been killed so she can get on with her life. She gets the news and is devastated. Several years later she is still grieving for him, but he has now been cured and goes looking for her.

 The film incorporated Fields' hugely popular signature song, Sally, itself a reference to Henry Carey's 1725 song, Sally in Our Alley, which had long been a traditional English country dance.
