''Cristal'' is the name of a ''canindé macaw'' (this one on the cover) that lives loose in the city of Cavalcante, in Chapada dos Veadeiros, Goiás. With other birds, it lives at Helia's bar where they are treated with great affection.
The feeling of preservation combined with freedom was the inspiration for the composition of this piece that uses two genres as a base, the ijexá and the maxixe.
The rhythmic characteristics of each of these genres were distributed among the instruments and guided by a cheerful melody. An opportunity to expand the repertoire of his quintet and immerse himself in the rhythm and fusion of these two genres.
An authorial piece that brings the genuinely Brazilian joy that can be used in contrast to dense pieces from the repertoire of your brass quintet. Take your quintet to fly high and free like Cristal Canindé.

It was composed in honor of the teacher and tubist Renato Pinto in commemoration of the arrival of his first granddaughter, called �gata.
The main melody of the tuba is accompanied by the other instruments of the brass quintet, and can be played with or without the percussion part attached.
A cheerful piece, challenging for the tuba player and containing the rhythmic elements of the maxixe, a danceable musical genre that is part of the Choro language.
An excellent opportunity to expand your quintet's repertoire with the tuba as soloist.

This solo piano arrangement of Climax by Usher is ideal for upper-intermediate and advanced players who like R&B music, and who are looking to augment their classical, jazz, and Broadway repertoire.
