Easy Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.915348 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Jason Brown. Children,Classical,Instructional,Romantic Period. Score. 2 pages. Music Multiverse Publishing #6637997. Published by Music Multiverse Publishing (A0.915348). Für Elise is possibly the most well known piece of piano literature in the history of Western music!  This is a staple in every pianist's repertoire, no matter their level.  This piece has been arranged for a student around level 1.  It contains only the melody, spread across both hands in a hand position that contains only a few small changes.  In this arrangement, the student will be challenged with reading sharps and naturals, observing a first and second ending, playing expressive elements such as dynamics, crescendos and decrescendos, ritaradandos and an a tempo.  The student will also have the fun, but flashy task of crossing LH over RH for a note at the climax of the piece.  We hope you enjoy learning to play or teach this piano favorite!

Flugelhorn,Piano,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1284795 Composed by Ho Fong Leong. Classical,Contemporary,New Age. 17 pages. Marco leong #875974. Published by Marco leong (A0.1284795). Alternate arrangement for Violin, Flugelhorn and Piano, Aug 2023.Dedicated to Simon, Leo and Wellington School as a parting gift. Scored for Violin, Horn and Piano. Premiered in St George's Bristol, September 2019. “And then we see†is dedicated to the wonderful people I have met throughout my journey in Wellington School, especially to two of my very good friends – Simon, a euphonist; and Leo, a ‘cellist. Originally planned to be written for Piano, ‘Cello and Euphonium, and to be finished and performed in our last school concert as a goodbye gift, I had however not managed to complete the work before graduation. I have therefore taken this opportunity to express my emotions and sentiments from the time with this newly written piece. One can therefore very easily sense the nostalgia pouring right from the very beginning of the music, as I reminisce our years together. It is based loosely on a ternary structure (ABA) – the A section depicts the moment of farewell. One can hear the violin plays a very simple, bell-like melody, representing the bell-strikes which signify that it is the end of a long journey – time to say goodbye. The B section, based on the very same melody, transforms itself into a 6/8 dance. This dance depicts the pang and melancholia as we bid farewell, leading to a passionate climax. The A section then returns with the melody in its original form, announced by the horn. The coda concludes the piece, trying to move away from the tonic, representing the start of a new chapter in our journey and our optimistic feelings about it. Throughout the piece there are also quotes from the famous Westminster chimes, and variants of it, enforcing the bell imagery.

Cello Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.998867 Composed by Robert A. Howard. 20th Century,Contemporary,Standards. Individual part. 5 pages. Robert A. Howard #6348459. Published by Robert A. Howard (A0.998867). Monody is a fast tempo study for solo cello which explores the development of a single line (there is no double stopping). The work centres around E minor, and states the main motif at the outset (E, G, F#). This is then extended and transformed throughout the course of the piece. An initial introductory motivic passage is followed by a scalic section that features another core concept of the work; that of the octatonic scale (alternating semitones and tones, or vice versa). Then comes the main extended scherzo-like section, itself in a ternary structure, that exploits permutations of the opening motif and the octatonic scale, across the entire range of the cello. The work builds towards a climax, including in extreme high pitch and loud dynamics. After a silence, there follows a very quiet and mysterious muted coda, which briefly recounts the main motivic ideas of the piece, before ending on the only pizzicato note of the work. The piece is accessible and is appropriate for high standard cellists, including advanced and professional players.Duration: 4 minutes 20 seconds.Registered with PRS (Performing Rights Society, UK).Composer's website: www.roberthowardmusic.co.uk.

Instrumental Duet Alto Saxophone,Instrumental Duet,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.590561 Composed by David McKeown. Celtic,Folk,Holiday,Love,Wedding. Score and parts. 4 pages. David McKeown #6212705. Published by David McKeown (A0.590561). Grá, (Irish for Love), is a beautiful original composition by David McKeown, arranged as a duet for one Alto and Tenor Saxophone. This duet is inspired by the Irish sean-nós style of singing. Originally sung unaccompanied in the Irish Gaelic language, in more recent times the melodies have been adapted as instrumentals, harmonised and given accompaniment. The songs are most often about love and loss and Grá aims to capture this melancholy mood.Grá is written for players at an intermediate standard and upwards. Expressive throughout, the first part of the melody is played above a drone. Simple accompaniment then builds towards a climax before the melody slips away like a distant echo. Players can add their own appropriate ornaments and variations to the melody if they wish. Grá has a performance time of a little over three minutes. Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1077067 By Michael Swedberg. By Terrence Niska. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary. Score. 4 pages. Niska Music Publishing #681209. Published by Niska Music Publishing (A0.1077067). A sense of foreboding fills the air as this piece begins. There is a darkness on the horizon and it can mean only one thing: the storm approaches. The simple chords of the intro present a feeling of calm that belies the impending torrent. The music takes a deep breath and then…it begins. In the left hand, a figure reminiscent of Chopin’s “Revolutionary†Etude begins (though not nearly as quick). The rains start to fall and the winds begin to blow as the storm builds in intensity. Measure by measure the music grows in strength until the climax is reached and the gales begin to subside with the last crashes of thunder. For all its fury, the storm is over. The clouds begin to recede across the horizon and in the end, a single ray of sunlight breaks through the gloom.

String orchestra, with optional organ - Digital Download SKU: OX.9780193201880 'And Wept Bitterly'. Composed by Mack Wilberg. Score. 11 pages. Oxford University Press Digital #9780193201880. Published by Oxford University Press Digital (OX.9780193201880). ISBN 9780193201880.For string orchestra, with optional organ. This moving piece for string orchestra is full of pathos and emotion. Stylistically evocative of Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings and the distinctive musical language of Arvo Pärt, Lament is based around a two-bar arching ostinato, artfully developing musical fragments and enriching the texture to reach a powerful central climax. This is a welcome addition to the string orchestra repertory. This piece was recorded on the 2019 Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra CD Tree of Life under the title 'And Wept Bitterly (Lament on an Ostinato for String Orchestra)'.
