This is a wonderful setting of three hymns that are usually sung on Palm Sunday.  I wrote a melody that is used to tie the three together.  It would be for early intermediate or more choir.  The hymns themselves are in typical chorale style for the most part, and are tied together by my common theme.  This is a nice, budget friendly way to celebrate Palm Sunday, as it employs one trumpet, piano, and organ, as well as the choir.  This would work with a minimum octet choir or larger.  Also offered is a Piano-Choral version for the choir to use, which is less pages than the full score.  The trumpet part is included at the end of the full score.

Yes!  A choral arrangement of a Bob Dylan Song!  This is an SATB+piano arrangement of one of Bob Dylan's perhaps lesser known folk tunes, but one of his most plaintive and heartfelt songs.  With Dylan's exquisite sense of analogy, he paints a heartfelt portrait of Americana.  The difficulty level would be intermediate.  This is an excellent example of homophonic choral writing in an authentic American style, emphasizing characteristics of American folk songs, connection to nature and humanity.  This would be an excellent show stopper, end of concert, or other appropriate place in a program. For students, this builds choral tone, has solo, unison, two, three, and full choral singing, and a small solo.  The theme builds community, and respect and love for nature and humanity.  This has simple warm harmonies that exemplify American folk music, yet with a modern touch.  I guarantee you will love this piece and it will find it's place in your permanent library.  Perfect For Earth Day or general service in a church setting, the text is general, fits almost any church service.  This will be alongside such standards as The River Is Wide,Down To The River To Pray and others.  I feel very confident you will love this piece.  The music clip is page 6, the most complex verse. This is a more contemporary choral arrangement of the familiar hymn, with a new melody that ties the arrangement together.  It progresses from traditional harmony to more a more contemporary choral treatment, while still retaining the original feel of the hymn.  This would be for a intermediate level church choir, and could be ready for a service in one rehearsal.  The solo instrument could be solo violin or Bb clarinet, both fit the melody beautifully.  This is one of a series of hymn arrangements I am writing that follow the church year, this one would be a New Year's hymn, but of course could be sung anytime.  It is around three minutes, perfect for a typical service.
