Aber auch unter den Kindern gibt es Außenseiter: sie kommen von außerhalb des Dorfes, sind Fremde mit niederem sozialen Status (Kesselflicker), stehlen, sind aufsässig, wortbrüchig, voll krimineller Energie und müssen im Sinne der Gruppe diszipliniert werden. Da dies jedoch nicht gelingt, bleibt nur die Ausweisung aus dem Dorf, abgemildert durch die Gabe einiger Brote, damit die Ausgewiesenen nicht hungern müssen. Die Musik des in seinen Absichten eindeutigen Stückes ist recht jugendwirksam aufgemacht.

The message is this: no person can be summed up by one emotion, and all have the right to be angry, on occasion. Black women have more reason to be angry than a lot of people, and while we shouldn't be consumed by anger, we shouldn't feel like we can't express it, either. Anger results from hurt or fear; the more lyrical middle section alludes to the pain that we've experienced. The song ends with the defiant question: But what if I were? There was little traffic to worry about and all the people were kind and friendly. If we did have a few pennies, we’d perhaps share a ‘Wagon Wheel’ which used to be at least three times the size that they are now and cost 3d (just over 1p). If we were really flushed and had 6d (2.5p), we’d buy a tube of ‘Smarties’ and then float the empty tube down the stream.This piece requires a 76 note (6 octaves) keyboard. I would rate this as MODERATELY DIFFICULT.
