Otherwise, just a mix of familiar chord activity, bass sustain – leaving fingers down when possible, accentuated melody tones and trying to keep the rhythm steady.

This arrangement for SATB, piano and percussion is designed to minimize page turns by providing separate parts for the choir and the piano. A traditional full score is also included for the conductor, and which may be useful to the accompanist during rehearsals.The percussion element is largely an improvised groove, but it is nonetheless indespensable for providing rhythmic vitality throughout the song. The piano part alone, if played verbatim, will not be suffcient. For the core drum sound, I recommend a djembe or a pair of congas. Another percussionist, if available, could add a shaker to the mix.
