The attached YouTube link is a practice session by the composer outside his hand-built cabin in the mountains of Washington state where he lived for three years. It is played on a Ganassi style Alto-in-G recorder handcrafted by Bodil Diesen of Norway. Please note that due to brain damage the composer is no longer able to differentiate fingering and notes to play instruments in their correct pitch ranges, so this is played on a G pitched instrument but music is read as C fingered (Soprano and Tenor). As solo music it makes no difference but an Alto player will probably notice the pitches don't match the fingerings they are seeing. The sound file is voiced in piano but this is a great piece for treble instrument; i.e. Oboe, Clarinet, Flute, or the Recorder family.
