Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.931212 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Alessandro Macrì. Classical. Score and parts. 13 pages. Music Macri Editions #3687655. Published by Music Macri Editions (A0.931212).

String quartet (double bass ad libitum) - easy to intermediate - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q771524 Composed by Gabriel Faure. Arranged by Wolfgang Birtel. Downloadable, Score and parts. Op. 50. Schott Music - Digital #Q771524. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q771524). The music of small forms was to become the focus of the French composer Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924). In 1874, after many years spent in the 'provinces', the teacher of Camille Saint-Saëns took the position of organist in Paris; later he not only worked as a church musician but also as a teacher. In the summer of 1887 Fauré wrote his Pavane Op. 50, originally intended for a concert providing light entertainment, which soon gained wide popularity as an orchestral setting with and without the chorus added by Fauré. The romantic, slightly melancholic melody is a catchy tune which, thanks to the present arrangement, can now also be performed by a string quartet. In the summer of 1887 Fauré wrote his Pavane Op. 50, which soon gained wide popularity as an orchestral setting with and without chorus. Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.809125 By Jack Leonard with Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. By Jerome Kern. Arranged by Tony Benade. Musical/Show. Score and parts. 24 pages. Tony Benade #4855337. Published by Tony Benade (A0.809125). The arrangement opens up with a classic 8 bar riff that was used specially for this tune by various jazz artists. It starts out with a latin feel and moves to standard four on the bridge and then back to the latin feel. It continues to move back and forth from the latin to four throughout with ad lib solos for trumpet and trombone. The riff is brought back in just before the ad lib solos basically as a set up for  those solos. It is a very interesting arrangement for any type of group but especially a brass quintet.

C Instrument - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1419147 By The Eagles. By Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Randy Meisner. Arranged by Ian Fitze. Country,Folk,Pop,Rock,Standards. Lead Sheet / Fake Book. 2 pages. Ian Fitze #1000577. Published by Ian Fitze (A0.1419147). Visit my website at IAN FITZE MUSICAL ARRANGEMENTS for a complete catalogue of my works including FREE DOWNLOADS.This lead sheet is designed for experienced musicians who are looking for an easy-to-read lead sheet that gives the outline of the song. The melody has been simplified to make the lead sheet more readable. In most cases your vocalist will be performing from memory based on the recording. The original backing vocals are quite involved, so most performances will just inclue one or two improvised parts sung in the spirit of the original track.A NOTE ABOUT THE KEY: in every version of this tune that I could find (except the Miley Cyrus), the guitars play in G. The version given with Randy Meisner singing lead is in B major - guitars playing CAPO 4. Apparently, singing this tune live (with the soaring ad lib vocals at the end) ended up being too taxing for Randy Meisner and legend has it that disagreements about performing it live (at least in part) ended up with him leaving the group. When Glen Frey sang this in the 2000's and 2010's he did it in G as written here. When Vince Gill sang this in the 2020's he did it in A major - guitars playing CAPO 2.I reccomend using G or A major - a female singer might want to do it in C major (like the Miley Cyrus version). https://youtu.be/KI7YNyL-nt8?si=pCAQXZowUYxDTqa9.

Bassoon Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1034899 Composed by Marilyn Herman. African,Contemporary,World. Individual part. 6 pages. Marilyn Herman #6857543. Published by Marilyn Herman (A0.1034899). Abeba, in the title Swing Abeba, means flower - part of the name of the Ethiopian capital city where modern Ethiopian music took root.  Abeba is also a common refrain in their vocal music.  True to its title, this work is influenced by Ethiopian popular music, which in turn was strongly influenced by swing rhythm in American big band jazz transmitted from an army radio station in neighbouring Eritrea in the 1950s.  Ethiopian music – essentially song-based – consists of pentatonic melodies which tend to be deeply embedded in copious melismata, progressing in an improvisatory manner, similarly to jazz.  Accordingly, Swing Abeba begins with an Ethiopian, pentatonically melismatic treatment of an un-Ethiopian theme.  (Whispers of Gondar…. – were words used to characterize this opening section, Gondar being a highland region in the North of Ethiopia.)  The music then breaks into a jazz-swing scherzo.  The call-response nature of this scherzo recalls this feature of Ethiopian music.  The second section begins with a slow, heavily melismatic ad lib passage marked molto espressivo e pensivo, which leads into a second swing scherzo, the opening themes reappearing in a different guise in the closing section.  Swing Abeba makes connections across time and space - between modern Ethiopian and Western musics, infused with influences from a different part of Africa, received via America through the jazz of the swing era.
