They performed and recorded together in the 1940s through the 1960s. In the 1950s they produced three duet records: two Ella and Louis albums, and their Porgy and Bess album.I thought the best way to begin to understand their music was to imitate them. I sought to emulate Louis' warm humanity and musical efficiency--just the right note at the right time--and Ella's skillful and musically satisfying scat singing. There is only one quote in I Like Louis and Ella, the opening trumpet statement, but the rest of the music was written as my own impressions of their unique stylings.I am grateful to my former student, Kyle Tolstyka, for commissioning this piece to benefit the horn scholarship fund at Eastern Michigan University. Wikipedia notes that, musically, We Don't Talk About Bruno eschews Disney's traditional formula of a sentimental ballad performed by a solo character, opting for a subdued, mid-tempo tune blending Latin music styles such as salsa and guajira with pop, hip hop, dance and Broadway elements, sung by an ensemble and climaxing in a polyphonic outro. This arrangement has been specifically tailored for intermediate-level cello while retaining all of the original elements of the song, as well as some original interpretative elements. The lead line combines some of the different voices in the original song. The key have been changed from the original C minor to the more cello-friendly G minor.

Obviously, this is a professional arrangement, and super difficult to find on SHeetMusicPLus  , compared to so many other simple and basic , cookie-cutter formatted arrangementsThis arrangement, however is true professionally arranged and definitely will stand out and shine for you ensemble or choir.A must for flute choir libraries!!
