Piano,Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.845321 Composed by Z Noskowski. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Concert,Romantic Period,Wedding. Score and part. 7 pages. Phil Beaman #6753049. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.845321). In 1897 the great Polish composer Zygmund Noskowski composed four characteristic pieces for piano, each piece evoking a different spring flower. This duet between an Instrumental Solo and piano is my arrangement of Rose from Fleurs du Printemps, Op 48 (Rose, from Flowers of Spring). It is expressive, portraying the beauty of the Rose. I have added considerable markings of articulation and dynamics and phrasing to bring out this expressiveness. I have also changed the tempos to create more emotional variety between the thematic sections and I wrote a new ending with an Instrumental cadenza. The solo instrument plays the various melodic themes while I created a new piano part based on the original chords. The melody contains many accidentals as is typical in the Romantic period.  Accessible for the average player yet with enough markings and nuances to satisfy expert players with the results. Definitely a concert or audition piece to show musicianship.  Also well suited for Wedding music.Solo range - nearly 2 octaves (14th)5 page score, 2 page part2:35 minutes

String Quartet String Quartet - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.987857 Composed by Robert M. Greenberg. 20th Century. Score and parts. 121 pages. Robert M. Greenberg #115423. Published by Robert M. Greenberg (A0.987857). Preferred Contact Information: RMonteverdi@comcast.net Performing Rights Organization: BMI Website: robertgreenbergmusic.com Facebook Band Page: facebook.com/RobertGreenbergMusic Duration: ca. 21 minutes Year of composition: 1988 Program Note: !. Games (fast) II. Intermezzo: Dreams of Gold (slow) III. Dances (very fast) Child's Play was completed in August, 1988. In no way does the title refer to the technical demands of the piece, which are considerable. Rather, it refers to the endlessly imaginative, energized, and constantly changing play that might be engaged in by four different, though like-minded children. Indeed, the inspiration for the quartet was my then two-year-old daughter Rachel, whose boundless energy and capacity for play I found (and still find) rather terrifying. Child's Play consists of three movements: Games (fast), Intermezzo: Sogni d'Oro (Dreams of Gold) (slow), and Dances (very fast). In Games, four energetic and well-rested players leap out of the starting blocks together and engage in sport of various kinds: running games, chasing games, teasing games, tag, echo games (Simon Says), races, and so forth, eventually returning to the unison from which they began. Intermezzo: Sogni d'Oro (Dreams of Gold) offers a quiet, episodic, dreamlike respite from the frenetic mood of Games. In Dances, the energized character of the first movement resumes, only faster. Dances is a perpetual motion movement in three parts, with a slower, more fragmented middle section sandwiched between a boisterous and frenzied dance of life. This movement ends much in the same way as the first movement began, bringing the circuit of the piece to a close. Child's Play was commissioned by, and is dedicated, with many thanks and great appreciation, to the Alexander String Quartet.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1341934 Composed by John Burkett. Arranged by John Burkett. Praise & Worship,Romantic Period,Sacred. Score. 5 pages. John Burkett #927445. Published by John Burkett (A0.1341934). My Prelude on the tune St. Catherine (Faith of Our Fathers) is intended for church pianists looking for interesting arrangements of hymns familiar to their congregations.  It is written in an overtly late 19th century romantic style with considerable use of chromaticism.  A fairly lengthy introduction hints frequently at the tune before the melody proper appears.  The chorus concludes in grandiose style followed by a brief postlude that quietly reiterates the opening measures of the piece.  I have provided a full-length recording to aid the prospective buyer in the decision-making process.  I encourage you to search the Sheet Music Plus or the Sheet Music Direct website for other hymn arrangements of mine, some for organ and others for piano.

Solo Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1147461 By Simon James. By Simon James. Classical,Contemporary,Instructional,Multicultural,World. Individual part. 6 pages. DML #747697. Published by DML (A0.1147461). These short Preludes for guitar are intended to illustrate a particular technical point or points. It may be either technical or compositional or both. This piece is based on the simple idea of an A major chord, a D major7 chord and an E9 chord in 5th position played with an unusual right hand pattern giving a time signature of 10/8. Don’t panic, if you play the right hand pattern correctly, as indicated, it automatically comes out correctly. You will find all the techniques you need in my book The Art Of Accompaniment On The Guitar. I have given considerable technical guidance both in fingering and the use of different strings as these pieces are intended to be instructional. The score is available on Sheet Music Plus and Sheet Music Direct.

Choral Choir (SSAA) - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.856207 By Mika. By Dan Warner, Jodi Marr, John Merchant, and Mika. Arranged by Liz Garnett. Dance,Pop. Octavo. 6 pages. Liz Garnett #4312139. Published by Liz Garnett (A0.856207). Mika's hit from 2007 is an exuberant (and at times petulant) critique of the way the music industry seeks out individuality and talent, then insists on working it over into safely commercial products. (Of course, that he had such success with it suggests that things aren't quite as bad as the song makes out.) But the song also works as a more general statement about everyone's personal stand against the tyranny of our peers' expectations. The original has a very rangy melody, which carries a considerable variety of vocal characterisation. The arrangement unfolds this onto the four different parts, each taking on certain aspects of the line's mercurial identity. Sharing the melody's vocal demands around does not necessarily make either the characterisation or the ranges easier, however, since it also means that every part is switching between lead and accompanying roles, at times quite quickly. So it needs generous ranges, quick-wittedness and - above all - performative swagger to carry it off. There is space for the snippets of dialogue from the original track; but whether (and how much) to use it would depend on the performance situation. My own feeling would be that the middle one ('getting angry won't solve anything') works just fine slotted in between the verses, but that the snippets at start and end would need more setting up to make sense to an audience unfamiliar with Mika's recording.N.B. This arrangement is notated in treble and bass alta (i.e. sung an octave higher than written) clefs.Vocal Ranges:Tenor: E flat 4 - F5Lead: F3 - F5Bari: G3 - C5Bass: E flat 3 - B flat 4NB - the list price includes 4 copies of the music
