Oboe,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.845317 Composed by Z Noskowski. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Concert,Romantic Period,Wedding. Score and part. 7 pages. Phil Beaman #6752939. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.845317). In 1897 the great Polish composer Zygmund Noskowski composed four characteristic pieces for piano, each piece evoking a different spring flower. This duet between an Instrumental Solo and piano is my arrangement of Rose from Fleurs du Printemps, Op 48 (Rose, from Flowers of Spring). It is expressive, portraying the beauty of the Rose. I have added considerable markings of articulation and dynamics and phrasing to bring out this expressiveness. I have also changed the tempos to create more emotional variety between the thematic sections and I wrote a new ending with an Instrumental cadenza. The solo instrument plays the various melodic themes while I created a new piano part based on the original chords. The melody contains many accidentals as is typical in the Romantic period.  Accessible for the average player yet with enough markings and nuances to satisfy expert players with the results. Definitely a concert or audition piece to show musicianship.  Also well suited for Wedding music.Solo range - nearly 2 octaves (14th)5 page score, 2 page part2:35 minutes

Drums - Intermediate - Digital Download SKU: M0.93625EB Composed by John Pickering. Technique, Theory and Reference. Style. E-book. Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music #93625EB. Published by Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music (M0.93625EB). ISBN 9781609748128. 8.75x11.75 inches.Enormous demands are placed on the control and manual dexterity of the contemporary drum set player, particularly in the Jazz idiom. Today's drummer is expected to have developed limb coordination to a degree that would have been thought unachievable a few short years ago. This text presents an effective method of dealing with the mastery of drum set coordination by breaking it down into four sections: 1) Ride Cymbal - Right hand; 2) Snare Drum - Left hand; 3) Bass Drum - Right foot; 4) Hi-hat - Left foot. The author clearly states his goals in writing this book: It is my sincere wish that the materials presented in [this] text will be of considerable help in developing musical approach to the coordination skills demanded of today's drummer. -John Pickering.

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1382867 Composed by John Burkett. Arranged by John Burkett. Classical,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 6 pages. John Burkett #967291. Published by John Burkett (A0.1382867). My Prelude on the hymn tune Bunessan (Morning Has Broken) is intended for church pianists looking for interesting arrangements of hymns familiar to their congregations.  After a brief introduction, the traditional Gaelic melody, played by the right hand, is undergirded by an original harmonic scheme outlined in wide-ranging arpeggios played by the left hand.  The next section begins with a fugato that segues into bravura passgework, culminating in a dramatic reappearance of the last two phrases of the tune, enveloped in tumultuous arpeggios.  This setting demands considerable pianistic skill.  I have provided a full-length recording to aid the prospective buyer in the decision-making process.  I encourage you to search the Sheet Music Plus or the Sheet Music Direct website for other hymn arrangements of mine, some for organ and others for piano.

Choral Choir (SSAA) - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.856207 By Mika. By Dan Warner, Jodi Marr, John Merchant, and Mika. Arranged by Liz Garnett. Dance,Pop. Octavo. 6 pages. Liz Garnett #4312139. Published by Liz Garnett (A0.856207). Mika's hit from 2007 is an exuberant (and at times petulant) critique of the way the music industry seeks out individuality and talent, then insists on working it over into safely commercial products. (Of course, that he had such success with it suggests that things aren't quite as bad as the song makes out.) But the song also works as a more general statement about everyone's personal stand against the tyranny of our peers' expectations. The original has a very rangy melody, which carries a considerable variety of vocal characterisation. The arrangement unfolds this onto the four different parts, each taking on certain aspects of the line's mercurial identity. Sharing the melody's vocal demands around does not necessarily make either the characterisation or the ranges easier, however, since it also means that every part is switching between lead and accompanying roles, at times quite quickly. So it needs generous ranges, quick-wittedness and - above all - performative swagger to carry it off. There is space for the snippets of dialogue from the original track; but whether (and how much) to use it would depend on the performance situation. My own feeling would be that the middle one ('getting angry won't solve anything') works just fine slotted in between the verses, but that the snippets at start and end would need more setting up to make sense to an audience unfamiliar with Mika's recording.N.B. This arrangement is notated in treble and bass alta (i.e. sung an octave higher than written) clefs.Vocal Ranges:Tenor: E flat 4 - F5Lead: F3 - F5Bari: G3 - C5Bass: E flat 3 - B flat 4NB - the list price includes 4 copies of the music
