Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quartet Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.584232 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Jeff Tincher. Rock. 17 pages. Jeff Tincher #5325939. Published by Jeff Tincher (A0.584232). Here is an awesome finale to the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band project. In the original key, this song took music to a whole new level. Besides molding 2 songs together by 2 different composers in 2 different places, George Martin added strings playing something never heard of before. And the ending is amazing, a piano chord that lasts forever. Duration = 6:08. Guitar Ensemble Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797826 By Keith Whitley. By Don Schlitz and Paul Overstreet. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Contemporary,Pop. Score and parts. 20 pages. Derek Hasted #6414637. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.797826). WHEN YOU SAY NOTHING AT ALL - GUITAR TRIO with OPTIONAL BASS PARTFor Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar. Derek Hasted writes This lovely melody, first made famous by Alison Krauss, and more recently by Ronan Keating, makes a delightful concert piece for guitars. My arrangement is based on Ronan Keating’s version, where the distinctive guitar accompaniment is a little different to Alison’s original. The music doesn’t have the slow fade-out of Keating’s piece - it’s not that easy for a guitar ensemble on stage to emulate that! Besides - the fade-out in Keating’s version is lots of repeated notes sung with different syllables - on the guitar it loses any sense of variety. But this arrangement does have all the rest of the thematic material, including the strange but seldom noticed fact that verse two is one measure shorter than verse one. A lot of the vocal countermelodies are here too.The optional fourth part is suitable for novice guitar, for bass or acoustic guitar or for pizzicato double bass, and is included in both treble and bass clefs. But this arrangement works fine with just three guitars too...The key is the same as Keating’s version and includes the rather lovely key changes - both seem to go up slightly in pitch, yet the second key change actually returns back to the starting key.I hope you enjoy performing this!

Andrew Lamb #807281. Published by Andrew Lamb (A0.1209169). Title: The Vesper BellComposer: Henry Smith (1813-1879)Arranger: Andrew LambDescription: This is my transcription of the prelude The Vesper by composer Henry Smith (1813-1879).Henry Smith was an American composer and organist born in Salem, Massachusetts, on September 27, 1813. At a young age, he showed musical talent and became a pupil of Lowell Mason, an influential educator and composer who was instrumental in developing music education in the United States. Smith was also a prolific composer and wrote over 500 works, including hymns, songs, anthems, and instrumental music. Many of his hymns are still sung today in churches across the country, including Rejoice in the Lord Always, and Sabbath Bells are Ringing. In addition to his work as a composer, Smith was also an accomplished organist and held positions at several churches throughout his career, including in Boston and New York City.Smith was a supporter of music education and was influential in developing the music program at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where he taught for several years. He was also a member of the Boston Academy of Music and served as its president from 1852 to 1856.Henry Smith died on October 2, 1879, in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 66. His contributions to American music, particularly within the realm of religious music, were significant and helped shape the development of American classical music.

Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1147116 By Wesley Besancon. By Wesley Besancon. Arranged by Wesley Besancon. Contest,Festival,Historic,New Age. Score and Parts. 98 pages. Wesley Besancon #747321. Published by Wesley Besancon (A0.1147116). The Texas Revolution (October 2, 1835 – April 21, 1836) was a rebellion of colonists from the United States and Tejanos (Hispanic Texans) in putting up armed resistance to the centralist government of Mexico. Although the uprising was part of a larger one, the Mexican Federalist War, that included other provinces opposed to the regime of President Antonio López de Santa Anna, the Mexican government believed the United States had instigated the Texas insurrection with the goal of annexation. (from wikipedia- credited use). My piece perfectly encapsulates the revolution (from the guns, to the war motifs, to the mysterioso part). I hope you enjoy this piece.

Tuba Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.917229 Composed by Robert Chamberlin. 20th Century,Contemporary. Individual part. 5 pages. Robert Chamberlin #4622313. Published by Robert Chamberlin (A0.917229). Dr. Gary Bird assembled and edited a volume in 1994 called Program Notes for the Solo Tuba.  In it, he assembled information on what were determined to be the eighty-eight most important works for solo tuba written to that point in time.    Robert Chamberlin’s Elegy (for solo tuba) was very deservedly included in the catalogue of works in that very important assemblage.    Elegy was composed in 1981 for tubist, Jerry Young, and was written in collaboration with both Young and Daniel Perantoni.    It was composed as a response to the assassination of Anwar Sadat, the Egyptian head-of-state who, along with Israeli Premier Menachem Begin and U.S. President Jimmy Carter, forged the peace agreement between those two countries that endures to this day.  Chamberlin said: It is an expression of my sadness and anger that people resort to that particular type of violence for political gain.    Since its premiere performance by Jerry Young at Webster University in 1981, the work has been performed in many venues by many soloists, and it almost always resonates with and touches very diverse audiences.  The work uses a wide variety of expressive techniques, including multiphonics, pitch bends, half-valve technique, glissandi, whispering through the instrument, and the tuba mute.  Perhaps the most striking and emotionally touching effect is that the entire work is played with the bell of the instrument pointed into the open lid of a grand piano with the sustain pedal depressed.    The harmonic and echo-like acoustic effects created are stunning in every performance and venue.    This is an outstanding musical artwork appropriate for any recital, but also very effective in settings where unexpected or tragic loss are being marked.    It speaks to listeners of all backgrounds in a very pronounced way that few works seem to achieve.    While it is in every sense a virtuoso work, it is one that repeatedly rewards both performer and audience.

Brass Quintet Euphonium,Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1345881 Composed by John Philip Sousa. Arranged by Matthew Nunes. Chamber,Classical,Historic,March,Patriotic. 24 pages. Matthew Nunes Music #930764. Published by Matthew Nunes Music (A0.1345881). Woodrow Wilson’s speech at the 25th anniversary of the Daughters of the American Revolution provided the inspiration and title. The march contains original material as well as fragments of Dixie, Maryland, My Maryland, We’re Off to Philadelphia in the Morning, and Yankee Doodle.Sousa wrote two uncharacteristic moments here: giving the Horns the melody in the Trio’s second half, as well as the tuba feature in the interlude. This Brass Quintet arrangement was made using “The President’s Own†United States Marine Band’s The Complete Marches of John Philip Sousa score as found at https://www.marineband.marines.mil/Audio-Resources/The-Complete-Marches-of-John-Philip-Sousa/. America First was composed in 1916, and the referenced edition was made Public Domain in 2018. The piece is catalogued as Volume 4, No. 74.

Chamber,Classical,Historic,March,Patriotic. 28 pages. Matthew Nunes Music #897744. Published by Matthew Nunes Music (A0.1308505). A rare revisit to Sousa’s medley march days, this march features Stephen Foster’s Come Where My Love Lies Dreaming and Ethelbert Nevin’s Narcissus. This unpublished march could have been called “Homage to Nevin and Fosterâ€, “Homage to Pittsburghâ€, or “The Belle of Pittsburghâ€.It is one of Sousa’s more unusual works, but highly inventive. His combination of themes is well executed and builds throughout to a triumphant conclusion. A quite difficult one to arrange! This Brass Quintet arrangement was made using “The President’s Own†United States Marine Band’s The Complete Marches of John Philip Sousa score as found at https://www.marineband.marines.mil/Audio-Resources/The-Complete-Marches-of-John-Philip-Sousa/. As you can see, I started the melody from the first beat of the bar instead of the third. In this way all the phrases became thetic instead of anacrusic, gaining a greater simplification of reading. The melody of the Deutschlandlied (German national anthem) was originally composed by Joseph Haydn as the Austrian imperial anthem Gott erhalte Franz den Kaiser and was first performed in 1797. (The lyrics of the Deutschlandlied were written by August Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben in 1841 on Heligoland.) In 1922 it became the national anthem of Germany. In March 1952, President Theodor Heuss declared the third stanza of the Deutschlandlied the national anthem of the Federal Republic of Germany.Subscribe to my YouTube Channel to stay updated on new releases.
