It stars Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef as bounty hunters and Gian Maria Volonté as the primary villain. The film was an international co-production between Italy, West Germany, and Spain. The film was released in the United States in 1967, and is the second part of what is commonly known as the Dollars Trilogy. The musical score was composed by Ennio Morricone, who had previously collaborated with director Leone on A Fistful of Dollars. The music is notable for its blend of diegetic and non-diegetic moments through a recurring motif that originates from the identical pocket watches belonging to El Indio and Colonel Mortimer. Subscribe to my YouTube Channel to stay updated on new releases.

It is the second film of Leone's unofficial Once Upon a Time Trilogy, which includes the previous Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) and the subsequent Once Upon a Time in America (1984). The musical score for Giù la testa (Duck, You Sucker!) was composed by Ennio Morricone, who collaborated with Leone in all his previous projects as a director with the exception of his debut, The Colossus of Rhodes. The insistent repetition of the vocal theme Sean Sean with the addition of the melodic vocalization of Edda Dell'Orso make the song unmistakable and well known, with Morricone mixing whistles, unusual instruments, ethereal female voices, objects and noises to enrich the possibilities of cinema music.Subscribe to my YouTube Channel to stay updated on new releases.

SATB Chorus & Piano - Digital Download SKU: IZ.VMW222 Composed by John Schimminger. Octavo. 8 pages. Imagine Music - Digital #VMW222. Published by Imagine Music - Digital (IZ.VMW222). 9 x 12 inches. While teaching composition at Dordt College, I had the distinct pleasure of working with the administrators of the Northwest Iowa Symphony Orchestra. As a result of that wonderful relationship, I was approached to write a new fanfare for this concert to feature organist Marylou Wielenga. This new fanfare, set in a simple ABA form, includes a setting of the hymn Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, which is presented exclusively in the organ. Counter melodies and motifs are introduced throughout the work in the brass, woodwinds, and strings which are tossed around the orchestra culminating in a presentation set against the hymn presented one last time in the organ. God is praised triumphantly through brilliant brass fanfares and sparkling woodwind flourishes, all grounded by organ hymn. Lauda is gratefully dedicated to Marylou Wielenga and Northwest Iowa Symphony Orchestra, Christopher Stanichar, conductor.

Keith Terrett #863787. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.1271389). C Jam Blues is a jazz standard composed in 1942 by Duke Ellington and performed by countless other musicians, such as Dave Grusin, Django Reinhardt, Oscar Peterson, and Charles Mingus, arranged here for String Orchestra. As the title suggests, the piece follows a twelve-bar blues form in the key of C major. The tune is well known for being extremely easy to play, with the entire melody featuring only two notes: G and C.A performance typically features several improvised solos. The melody likely originated from the clarinetist Barney Bigard in 1941, but its origin is not perfectly clear. It was also known as Duke's Place, with lyrics added by Bill Katts, Bob Thiele and Ruth Roberts.Ellington's black and white film was produced in 1942. The video depicts a jam session where Ellington begins playing with a double bass before gradually being joined by other members of his band, among them drummer Sonny Greer and trumpeter Rex Stewart. The film title is Jam Session. Western Swing band leader Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys recorded the song sometime between 1945 and 1947 as part of the Tiffany Transcriptions. Bill Doggett recorded a version on his 1958 tribute album Salute to Duke Ellington (King). C Jam Blues was used by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band as the basis of their song The Intro and the Outro.
