The tale is about a princess who rescues her beautiful sister from an evil enchantment and a prince from a wasting sickness caused by dancing nightly with the fairies. This music is Neo-Baroque in style. Originally conceived for music box (and, as such, included in the album Music Box Music), the composer adapted the piece to be performed in the following instrumentations: - Two glockenspiels - Two marimbas - Clarinet and cello - Flute, cello and guitar - Piano, strings and guitar - Bassoon, strings and guitar - Violin, bandoneon and double bass - Clarinet and piano - Piano solo The recording of the version for piano solo was released as single on 21 August 2020.
