Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1378908 Composed by A. Arensky. Arranged by A. Leytush. 19th Century. 190 pages. Arkady Leytush #963624. Published by Arkady Leytush (A0.1378908). A. Arensky Double Concerto for Violin, Cello and Orchestra, Based on Piano Trio D - minor, Op.32, Orchestrated by A. Leytush. A double concert for violin and cello is difficult to find in the list of works of Russian composers of the 19th century. There are simply no such well-known works. I decided to take a chance by trying to do an orchestral transcription of the brilliant Arensky Piano Trio D minor op. 32, where the parts of the solo violin and cello remained in their place, and the piano part was completely replaced by the orchestra. Particular attention is paid to the balance of sound between solo instruments and the orchestra.

AnderKamp Music #3639401. Published by AnderKamp Music (A0.742702). This is a wide, sweeping and pastoral arrangement of this timeless hymn arranged in a John Barry (Dances With Wolves, Out of Africa) sort of style. Highly praised and incredibly gifted arranger and orchestrator Jim Gray asked Jeff Anderson to create an arrangement for The Nashville Praise Symphony. The Nashville Praise Symphony (NPS) is an auditioned orchestral group under the direction of Camp Kirkland. After NPS performed this arrangement for a season, Jeff is excited to now make this arrangement available for purchase. Designed for full orchestra, this beautiful, peaceful arrangement would serve perfectly as an offertory or set-up for a message/sermon.   Instrumentation is: Flute 1 & 2 Oboe Clarinet 1 & 2 Bassoon Bass Clarinet Trumpet 1-3 Horn 1 & 2 Trombone 1-3 Tuba Harp Percussion 1 & 2 Timpani Violin 1 & 2 Viola Cello Double Bass Written Out Piano Substitution parts: Alto Sax 1 & 2 (Horn 1 & 2) Tenor Sax 1 & 2 (Trombone 1 & 2) Bari Sax (Tuba) String Synth 1 (Violins-Viola) String Synth 2 (Viola-Cello) String Synth 3 (Cello-Double Bass) String Synth 4 (String Reduction)

Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1022840 Composed by Leif Jack. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 10 pages. Leif Thomas Marken Jack #5902595. Published by Leif Thomas Marken Jack (A0.1022840). The Ocean Deep is inspired by the majesty of the ocean, its deceiving calmness and our limited knowledge of its greatest depths. It depicts one rising from the calm, sparse mesopelagic layer (the Twilight Zone) to the life-saturated epipelagic layer (the Sunlight Zone). Upon reaching the ocean's surface, a wave of awesome propotions is encountered... This 5-minute work for full orchestra is perfect for both intermediate, student orchestras and advanced, professional orchestras. Inspire your musicians and audience with music reminiscent of Debussy which celebrates the ocean! This work is easily accessible, and features various sections of the orchestra, and various players, who are always supported by other instruments. This work is perfect for a concert related to the ocean or nature in general, and an excellent way to enrich a concert program with contemporary music which is not overly avant-garde.Contact me at [email protected] for any further questions, concerns or business inquiries or check out my Instagram leif.jack.3 to see what I've been working on. Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1374671 Composed by Pietro Mascagni. Arranged by Michele Galvagno. 19th Century,20th Century,Opera,Religious,Romantic Period. 33 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #959220. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1374671). Pietro Mascagniâ??s (1863â??1945) Intermezzo Sinfonico from his opera Cavalleria Rusticana needs no presentation. The idea of this edition comes from an update to an arrangement created for a friendâ??s wedding in 2010. While arranging, I stumbled upon the composerâ??s autograph of this Intermezzo, for piano solo, and decided to add a modern engraving of it to the mix. Finally, an orchestral score and a full set of parts have been included to close the circle. There are, therefore, three versions of this piece: ASE 0055: for piano solo, based on the composerâ??s autograph from 1888. ASE 0057: arrangement for cello ensemble (min. 8 cellos), based on the piano part and not on the orchestral version, which differs greatly in dynamics and agogic marking ASE 0058: original orchestration, score and parts This editionâ??s piano solo and original orchestration versions inaugurate a new series dedicated to Italian composers and/or to composers who thought about Italy while writing their music. It is called: Viva lâ??Italia!

This CD contains Mark O'Connor's latest orchestral works: Americana Symphony Variations on Appalachia Waltz(2006) and Concerto No. 6 Old Brass (2003). Sony Classical//BMG label director Gilbert Hetherwick explains; Dvorak and Copland painted symphonic landscapes using melodies inspired by the Americana tradition, and Mark O'Connor actually comes from that tradition itself. He's lived it every day of his life. And you hear it in every note of his Americana Symphony. For the majority of his solo career, O'Connor has dedicated himself to composing for orchestra: he has written six full-length concertos, several orchestral suites and string orchestra compositions, and most recently his first Symphony.David Wallace, Juilliard School faculty member and Senior Teaching Artist with the New York Philharmonic, comments on the overall characteristics of O'Connor's music: The Americana Symphony combines historical narrative with classical and folk variation principles. The Symphony contains instrumental virtuosity, rhythmic drive, poignant lyricism, and probing counterpoint. With the Americana Symphony, Mark O'Connor provides his answer to a question that has intrigued U. S. composers since the debut of Dvorak's New World Symphony in 1892: How do you write the great American Symphony?William Intrilligator, artistic director of the Dubuque Symphony, conducted one of the first performances of the Americana Symphony: Very few pieces of new music have the same emotional and visceral effect as this Symphony, he writes. It has such power and beauty, and these traits are expressed in original ways that are pure O'Connor and truly American.Marin Alsop, artistic director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and this recording's conductor of the Americana Symphony, calls the Symphony simply A hit!  Original music printed from the composer’s manuscripts.Music editing, copying and engraving by Mark O’Connorusing Finale on Apple Macintosh 2006 - 2007 Composed by Mark O’ConnorCommissioned by: Cabrillo Music Festival and Marin Alsop, Colorado Symphony, Dubuque Symphony, Fargo Moorhead Symphony, Fox Valley Symphony, Garrett Lakes Arts Festival, Greater Anderson Musical Arts Consortium, Imperial Symphony, Reading Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Rockford Symphony, Santa Fe Symphony, Springfield Symphony, Springfield Symphony, Symphony Silicon Valley, Youngstown Youth Symphony. Can be heard on Americana Symphony!
