Organ - intermediate to advanced - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q563407 Chorale Arrangements and Free Works. Composed by Gregor Lehr. Downloadable. Schott Music - Digital #Q563407. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q563407). German • English. The organ works by Gregor Lehr (1906–1986), cathedral organist and master of music at the cathedral in Worms, were primarily intended for use in church services: these pieces were performed by the composer himself at church services in Worms at the cathedral of St Peter and at the church of St Paul, as well as in church concerts. Until now these musical scores were only accessible to a few former pupils of Lehr. These pieces composed in late Romantic style consist mainly of chorale preludes, along with some variations, interludes or postludes and chorale fantasias.

Organ: 3-staff - Moderately Easy SKU: LO.70-1577S Composed by Gerhard Krapf. Sacred, General, Trinity Sunday. Sacred Music Press #70/1577S. Published by Sacred Music Press (LO.70-1577S). ISBN 9780893283858.Although not really a season in the traditional sense, Trinity Sunday is the first Sunday of the longest season of the liturgical year, lasting until Advent-nearly half of the calendar year. And with many Christian hymns fitting these Sundays, this prominent and venerable composer has crafted 16 organ settings appropriate for this period of time. Useful as separate preludes, offertories and/or postludes within the worship service, or even as extended hymn introductions, they will fill an important niche in the organist's library.

Organ - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.932693 Composed by Gustaf T. Holst. Arranged by Terry M. Forsyth. Children,Christian,Christmas,Contemporary. Score. 2 pages. Forsyth Publishing #6113529. Published by Forsyth Publishing (A0.932693). Put on you alpaca!  This organ solo Christmas winter arrangement takes this hymn through a raging wind storm.  Really!  By putting melody on great flute 8' with no volume fluxuation and the left hand constant moving tritone using Gedeckt 8', the organist has to experiment with increasing then decreasing unpredictable and violent volume changes to achieve the realism of a major wind storm.  Truly, it will become a bleak mid-winter.  I have used it as an offertory last year and will be using it somewhere this Christmas season.  The wind storm makes this a very unique piece, not the standard worship service piece.  Easy to play as it uses no pedal tones, the challenge is extensive use of the swell pedal for only the accompaniment with flute on great the steady volume.  Tune name:  Cranham.

Organ - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1393791 By Dr. Sheri Masiakowski. By Sr. Mary Hueller OSF (Sr. Maurelia Hueller OSF). 20th Century,Sacred. Score. 6 pages. School Sisters of St. Francis #977263. Published by School Sisters of St. Francis (A0.1393791). Sister Mary Hueller (1921-2017), DMA from the Eastman School of Music, colleague of Sr. Theophane Hytrek OSF, was professor of organ, piano, and liturgical music at Alverno College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) throughout her professional career. At various times Sister Mary chaired the Fine Arts Division, coordinated the Music Department, and served on many college committees. After Sr. Theophane Hytrek's passing in 1992, Sr. Mary succeeded her as organist at St. Joseph Chapel for several decades.  “Tribute†was written in response to Sr. Theophane Hytrek’s choral compostion  “Canticle of the Creatures†(SSAA) sung by the School Sisters of St. Francis choirs regularly for community celebrations since it was written in 1949. The choral composition will soon be published in both SSAA and SATB arrangements.“Tribute†is of intermediate difficulty but has a challenging pedal part. At the time of composition Sr. Mary had learned to use Finale software and engraved the original score herself. This editor enjoyed spending time with Sr. Mary once a week as tutor while she developed this skill. Unfortunately the original computer file is no longer available and extant copies are not of sufficient quality to publish. Dr. Masiakowski produced the following edition based on Sr. Mary’s score. Fingering and pedal suggestions are those of Sr. Mary Hueller. We invite you to browse other creative works by the School Sisters of St. Francis on our website:  https://www.sssf.org/SSSF/Our-Global-Impact/United-States/Music-Ministry/Catalog-of-Music.htm  Further information about our offerings is available from Dr. Sheri Masiakowski, curator of the Heritage Music Collection, at smasiakowski@sssf.org.
