Organ: 3-staff - Moderately Easy SKU: LO.70-1577S Composed by Gerhard Krapf. Sacred, General, Trinity Sunday. Sacred Music Press #70/1577S. Published by Sacred Music Press (LO.70-1577S). ISBN 9780893283858.Although not really a season in the traditional sense, Trinity Sunday is the first Sunday of the longest season of the liturgical year, lasting until Advent-nearly half of the calendar year. And with many Christian hymns fitting these Sundays, this prominent and venerable composer has crafted 16 organ settings appropriate for this period of time. Useful as separate preludes, offertories and/or postludes within the worship service, or even as extended hymn introductions, they will fill an important niche in the organist's library.

Organ: 3-staff - Intermediate SKU: LO.70-1317S Composed by Emma Lou Diemer. Sacred. Sacred Music Press #70/1317S. Published by Sacred Music Press (LO.70-1317S). UPC: 000308048964.This collection of Psalm Interpretations for Organ features eight original compositions that reflect the spirit of verses from selected psalms. It is suggested that the psalm verses associated with each setting be included in the congregational leaflet or printed recital program. For variety, the entire psalm could be read before the playing of the musical setting. These settings were suggested by and written for Dr. Joan DeVee Dixon, Professor of Music at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland. Dr. Dixon also serves as organist and director of music at the historic Emmanuel Parish in Cumberland, Maryland. The work was commissioned by Dr. Alvin C Broyles, retired senior research associate of Exxon Production Research Company. Pipe Organ - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1393797 By Dr. Sheri Masiakowski. By Sr. Mary Hueller OSF (Sr. Maurelia Hueller OSF). Arranged by Dr. Sheri Masiakowski. 20th Century,Sacred. Full Performance. Duration 165. School Sisters of St. Francis #977269. Published by School Sisters of St. Francis (A0.1393797). Sister Mary Hueller (1921-2017), DMA from the Eastman School of Music, colleague of Sr. Theophane Hytrek OSF, was professor of organ, piano, and liturgical music at Alverno College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) throughout her professional career. At various times Sister Mary chaired the Fine Arts Division, coordinated the Music Department, and served on many college committees. After Sr. Theophane Hytrek's passing in 1992, Sr. Mary succeeded her as organist at St. Joseph Chapel for several decades. “Tribute†was written in response to Sr. Theophane Hytrek’s choral compostion “Canticle of the Creatures†(SSAA) sung by the School Sisters of St. Francis choirs regularly for community celebrations since it was written in 1949. The choral composition will soon be published in both SSAA and SATB arrangements. “Tribute†is of intermediate difficulty but has a challenging pedal part. At the time of composition Sr. Mary had learned to use Finale software and engraved the original score herself. This editor enjoyed spending time with Sr. Mary once a week as tutor while she developed this skill. Unfortunately the original computer file is no longer available and extant copies are not of sufficient quality to publish. Dr. Masiakowski produced the following edition based on Sr. Mary’s score. Fingering and pedal suggestions are those of Sr. Mary Hueller. We invite you to browse other creative works by the School Sisters of St. Francis on our website: https://www.sssf.org/SSSF/Our-Global-Impact/United-States/Music-Ministry/Catalog-of-Music.htm  Further information about our offerings is available from Dr. Sheri Masiakowski, curator of the Heritage Music Collection, at smasiakowski@sssf.org.
