Low Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.976715 Composed by JK Alwood. Arranged by Robert Myers. Contemporary,Easter,Gospel,Sacred. 10 pages. WheatMyer Music #4790441. Published by WheatMyer Music (A0.976715). Originally composed by Josiah Kelley Atwood in 1885, The Unclouded Day is a traditional American folk hymn still popular in rural settings. This arrangement was written for my mother-in-law’s home going service after a long debilitation during which she longed to be home with Christ. This hymn was chosen both because it is a favorite of the rural Oklahoma family church where she grew up and because it depicts the glories of heaven, as seen from the perspective of the soul yearning for their eternal home, in fair-weather and springtime imagery.
