Handbell - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1307850 Composed by Antonin Dvorak. Arranged by Cheryl (Sutton) Baker - Bronze:FX. 19th Century,Classical,Romantic Period. Score. 13 pages. Bronze:FX #897097. Published by Bronze:FX (A0.1307850). This arrangement of “From the New World†(Third Movement) is for full bell choir using 4-6 octaves of handbells. When played with 12 ringers, the piece is rated at Level 5.Filled with interesting and contrasting rhythms and techniques, this arrangement is fun to play and thoroughly enjoyable to hear. Each range of the bells is featured in different ways at different times in the piece. The middle bells have a lot of rhythm and technique changes which are not very difficult and will keep the ringers smiling. The super bass bells sometimes play the part of the timpani or strong brass, and at other times have a counter melody all their own. The high bells may carry the melody (often doubled in octaves), but that same melody is often echoed in the other bell ranges as well just a beat or two later. The arranger recommends that ringers listen to an orchestral recording of this composition. It is arranged in the same key, and (if you can) could be rehearsed together.  If you have enough hands available, the arranger provides suggestions for an added triangle part. This arrangement is dedicated to Bay Bells, an advanced community handbell choir that the arranger Cheryl (Sutton) Baker (also known as Cheryl Woldseth) directed from 1986 to 1997. Under her leadership, Bay Bells and the subset Bay Bells Ensemble performed throughout California, Oregon, Nevada, and Hawaii, plus they toured Indonesia in 1996 and also performed at the 1996 International Handbell Symposium in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bay Bells premiered this arrangement at the 1997 National AGEHR Ringers Conference in Sacramento, California.Performance time• 8 minutes, 10 seconds.

Brass Ensemble Euphonium,Tuba - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.941529 Composed by Babs Gonzalez and Horace Silver. Arranged by Harry Salotti. Contemporary. Score and parts. 13 pages. Harry Salotti #6211137. Published by Harry Salotti (A0.941529). The Preacher is a classic jazz standard written by Horace Silver.  Over the years it has become very popular with Dixieland bands around the world played with a relaxed two beat feel. This arrangement is for Tuba /Euphonium Quartet.  The 1st Tuba part would best be played on an Eb or F Tuba. The range of each part is under two octaves which makes it playable by any advanced intermediate group.  This arrangement was performed by The US Navy Band Tuba/Euphonium Quartet at the UNC Greensboro Tuba/Euphonium Conference.  Listen to the audio file and hear the final shout chorus and I'm sure you'll agree that The Preacher would be a great addition to any performance.

Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1026730 Composed by Jesse Holan. Baroque,Contemporary,Graduation,Wedding. Score and parts. 30 pages. Jesse Holan Enterprises #6359543. Published by Jesse Holan Enterprises (A0.1026730). Big Sky March is dedicated to the Big Sky Conference and the fun times they enable us highly energetic college students to have at sporting events (and afterwards). The overall sequence of this brass quintet models a typical college party in eagle country, where our grit and love for a good time make us like pirates of the Inland PNW, with wheatfields for seas and grain silos for sails. Fittingly, I chose a 12/8 time signature for the first half, as this feels more lilting and perky. As much fun as this stage is, the piece begins to slowly correct itself at the French Horn solo, when things snap into 4/4 time and start feeling a little murkier and eventually more clear-headed. In the end, the ensemble regains the momentum they need to finish on a high note (and turn in that exam the next morning). The PDF download includes the score followed by each individual part.
